Thoroughly enjoying this mix. I'm very intrigued by the tracklist. It's somewhere in between Old-school Goa Trance and modern Progressive Psy-Trance, but it's on the brighter/melodic side of the spectrum. Modern Psy tends to be more dark. I've always been in search of such a sound but had to settle with Psybient (which also is more on the darker side).

I wasn't ready for this! Words cannot express the sheer beauty of your mix! Thanks for this! 🙏

Dynamic Reflection will celebrate fifteen years of age this year, a milestone that is deserving of a proper celebration. And a proper celebration is what it will have in the form of five various artist EP’s: Liquid Solids, Quantum Realm, Infinite Oscillation, Equilibrium and Eye of Agamotto, each representing one of the five elements of nature.
This first of five releases kicks things into high gear right away. All four tracks combine fast paced rhythms with a certain funkiness and with your eyes closed, it’s hard not to think of the late 90’s and early 00’s. Don’t be surprised to hear these repetitive cuts pop up on primetime slots on a dancefloor near you these coming months.   Liquid Solids is the first part of Dynamic Reflection’s 15 year anniversary celebration: Time Crystals. NEW MIX! A conceptual journey of more than two hours, utilizing music from a kind of techno-trance I've been fascinated by lately. It's new music, taking heavy inspiration from the 90s trance sound - pure and deep.

The mix circles through light and dark, challenge and comfort, fear and joy, the heavens and the earth... It's a world you can dive into with full attention, with you as the protagonist - but it works just as well as a background palette for your social gatherings or daily activities.

The tracks in this genre are long and immersive, and I play a lot of them in full. I've used the vibes and emotions I felt with each track to form a bigger story, painting broad strokes for you to fill in the details with your own experience. In the tracklist you'll not only find the names of the creators of this beautiful music, but also my view of the purpose of each track in the bigger flow.

Making this mix and listening to it has brought me a lot of fulfillment. May it bring the same to you!

INTERVIEW:
1. Wie lange legst Du nun schon auf und wie hast Du es gelernt?

KYT: Ich lege seit ungefähr drei Jahren auf. Zunächst habe ich mir vieles selbst beigebracht, später hat mir ein damaliger Partner und sehr guter Freund wertvolle Tipps gegeben – darunter auch das Auflegen mit Vinyl.

2. Gibt es ein bestimmtes Event an das Du Dich gerne zurückerinnerst?

K: Das erste Mal im Sisyphos aufzulegen war ein besonderer Moment für mich. Ich dachte mir: „Okay, jetzt wird’s real!“

3. Was wünschst Du Dir, sollte in der Clubszene .anders laufen?

K: Ich wünsche mir, dass FLINTA*-Personen nicht mehr als „Pflicht“ auf dem Line-up betrachtet werden, sondern als selbstverständlicher Teil der Szene. 

4. Wie würdest Du Deinen Sound beschreiben?

K: Im House-Bereich liebe ich minimalistische und glitchy Sounds. Gleichzeitig bin ich mit Electro und French Touch aufgewachsen – diese Einflüsse sind bis heute in meiner Musik spürbar.

5. Was liegt Dir neben dem Auflegen noch sehr am Herzen?

K: Ich bin auch Performerin, Tänzerin und Luftakrobatin. Ich kreiere Performances von Grund auf – vom Kostümdesign über die Choreografie bis hin zur gesamten Inszenierung.

6. Wenn Du ein Wort wärst, welches wäre das?

K: Kaleidoskop.

7. Musik machen bedeutet für Dich …?

K: Eine tiefe Verbindung zu mir selbst und zu anderen. Meine Gefühle unmittelbar auszudrücken. Den Kopf ausschalten, die Kontrolle loslassen und meiner Intuition Raum geben – eine Reise durch die Vielfalt meines Inneren.

8.Was möchtet Du uns noch erzählen ?

K: Neben meinem Vinyl-only-Projekt lege ich auch als Kyra Techno auf.
