Cuando Roberto Martínez, el mismísimo MR Bienvenido a los 90, leyó nuestro correo y nos ofreció hacer una entrevista en su queridísimo (en este mundillo)podcast, no lo podíamos creer. Un grupo como nosotros, más underground que un pozo de petróleo, que el propio núcleo de la Tierra yendo pa Madrid, y joder… con la calidez con la que nos acogió. Bueno, pues aparte de hacer un nuevo amigo, imaginaros cuando después de ese día, volviendo a nuestra casa en Valencia, recibo un WhatsApp de Roberto diciéndonos que si queríamos participar en un disco homenaje al primer LP de Foo Fighters. Obviamente, solo nos faltó coger las guitarras en el coche y grabarla en radiocasete. Quisimos hacer algo lo más original posible, que sonara a THE WASTED GARAGE, pero que sonase como realmente un homenaje a tan maravillosa banda.

When Roberto Martínez, the one and only Mr. Welcome to the 90s, read our email and offered us an interview on his beloved (in this scene) podcast, we couldn’t believe it. A band like us, more underground than an oil well, deeper than the Earth’s core heading to Madrid, and fuck… the warmth with which he welcomed us.

Well, apart from making a new friend, imagine this: after that day, on our way back home to Valencia, I get a WhatsApp from Roberto asking if we’d like to take part in a tribute album to Foo Fighters’ first LP. Obviously, we were one step away from grabbing the guitars in the car and recording it on a cassette player.

We wanted to do something as original as possible, something that sounded like THE WASTED GARAGE, but that truly felt like a tribute to such an amazing band. We hope you like it as much as we do.
