Pleasure Voyage welcomes Simon Mills’ and Joel Hood’s duo ≈ Somethin' Sanctified ≈ from the UK. 

Simon and Joel were introduced when Mills was drafted in to produce Hood's EP on Mark Barrott’s legendary ‘International Feel’ label, when the pair realised their mutual love for atmospheric, hardware-driven House and Disco music, and Sanctified was born. The duo say “with Somethin’ Sanctified we’re channeling our inspirations squarely at the dance floor. We aim for our productions to reflect the kind of tracks we DJ out as well.”

This first Pleasure Voyage guest mix includes two tracks from their forthcoming EP "Arrivals: Part 1" and some of their finest influences. The set starts more mellow, with the likes of Young Marco, Jack J, and Chaos in the CBD, and goes through the gears reaching Sammy Bananas' cracking piano house track before having a soft landing again!

Did a little brunch transmission with fellow connoisseur of all things funky, Disco Turtle and a small group of friends in the back yard. We each did an hour set then kicked it over to another friends channel to finish things off for the afternoon. Not the same as having a proper Disco Brunch gathering with but alas, we are in weird times. Cannot wait to play/dance in a large group again! An incredibly joyous song tiding one over the darker days in the year. The voice of Nasir Marc Imam aka Nas Mellow sounds almost eerily familiar and is not only supported by Copper’s well-balanced production but also by one of the coolest background choirs you will hear this year.
The remix by Hydrogenii, one half of PH-Wert, DJ and beat producer from Pforzheim treats «Breathe Easy» for the dancefloor or wherever in the next few weeks people will dance to music. Sitting calmly while listening to it is almost impossible!
