"While exploring new production techniques using old and unlikely hardware, the results were so unusual that I really had the sense that these pieces of equipment didn't actually create these sounds, rather they were in fact some kind of elaborate reception device that allowed me to tune into transmissions from Distant Galaxies. The music I could hear was actually the received transmissions of Pop Hits from those Distant Galaxies that were being played on their radio stations.
I quickly recorded all that I could before losing the transmission.

I consulted with Dr Andrew Read, the astrophysicist with whom I recorded Guitar Treatments in 1999. He has worked on the discovery of the most distant galaxies and astronomical objects in the Universe. Together we came up with a possible list of where these musical transmissions may have come from."

Reload Black proudly welcomes to its board seriously-emerging talent Autika aka AndReew, with his latest four-track smash, titled 'Violence EP'.

Starting out with 'Argoments', the steamrolling rhythm section propels sinister synths and mutating chords to the manic edge while soulful vocal snippets become the perfect balancing contrast. 'Differents' continues in the same vein with more vocals of the haunting kind, eerie notes and a mysterious vibe throughout.

'Pink Trap' completely flips the script and stomps wildly, relying solely on the power of the drums and the cleverly sparse arrangement. The EP closes with the title track which has been surgically arranged so that the cavernous percussion and spacious effects can take over the whole track, while at the same time the grinding bassline in combination with the hypnotic, filtered riff running throughout the track, kick things up a notch and ensure maximum overdrive.

Well, 2016 was a bit of a mixed bag wasn't it? It's certainly a year that I wont forget in a hurry - for all sorts of reasons - good and bad. However the one common denominator throughout pretty much all of it has been music. Whether its what you turn too to make you happy or whether its the cause of what occasionally makes you sad, there is no denying that music is the one thing that brings us all together to share what is best about being a human. So here's to sharing and caring. We can all do more of both in 2017 but I want to sign off for the holidays by saying a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all for caring about my music. BQD40.2 is a collection of original material of artists who we signed back then. On the A side, Vid’s “Camelie” was an early masterpiece for the label. The mesmerising piano that shines over the beat caught everybody out and made this track one of the most loved Brouqade anthems.
The B1 belongs to label fave, Oshana, who actually released her first production, “Magdelena”, on the label. The track featured here, “Something Different”, was part of a digital compilation, and we’re proud to say we’ve been part of Oshana’s story since the very beginning. And as we’ve been digging this track for so long, it’s now only right that it gets some a release on wax.
B2 Andrea Fiorito's Track " Black" we always loved for his energy and the symbiosis between a strong beat combined with a special mood. its approach to Old School House is undeniable and makes it a great addition to every DJ Set.
