Introducing the new monthly mix series, founded by Hull-based DJ Cookie Tee, the WUBS (Women United By Sound) series aims to unite, uplift, and highlight the incredible women within the bass music scene.

While representation has undoubtedly improved in recent years, this is only part of the equation. It is clear that women in our scene still face challenges, and there is always room for continued progress. This is why I decided to start this series and give these women an extra place to be heard! 

This series will feature a carefully curated selection of talented DJs, ranging from emerging artists who deserve greater recognition, to more established DJs who are already hosting radio shows, streams, performing at events, and touring the globe. These women deserve both respect and recognition for their dedication and contribution to the craft.

The love of Bass music unites this collective of talented women, but the Girls don't stop there! They also express their creativity, celebrate diversity, and push boundaries.

You can find these mixes on SoundCloud and YouTube, with new releases available on the second Friday of every month.

Introducing my 5th guest MissGray! (The liquid queen!) 

MissGray is a Drum & Bass DJ and producer based in Kent, UK, known for her deep connection to the rich, soulful textures of liquid DnB. She began producing in 2023, quickly finding her own identity—one rooted in emotive melodies, rolling basslines, and immersive atmospheres. With a growing catalogue of tracks, MissGray is fast becoming a name to watch in the liquid scene.

Her journey into DJing began shortly after she started producing, and in just a year she has already shared the stage with some of the most respected names in Drum & Bass including Etherwood, Keeno, Riya, Telomic to name a few. She's released tracks with labels such as Interstellar Audio, Outer Edge Audio, Incurzion, Totally Liquid & C recordings.
 Her sets are a reflection of her passion: carefully curated, emotionally charged, and always aimed at taking the listener on a journey. Whether it's a small, intimate venue or a high-energy club night, MissGray brings a distinctive sound that leaves a lasting impression.
Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of her craft, she continues to evolve both as a producer and performer. With a strong work ethic and genuine love for the music, MissGray is not just participating in the scene, she's shaping her place within it.
