Rachael D'Alessandro is no stranger to creativity. The Design Director at Australia’s famous denim label ONETEASPOON, resident artist and general EP / Album / Vinyl cover artist for Moblack Records and Inward Records, and a DJ, her passion for music reverberates in everything she does. Today is no exception with a 90 minute mix that is sure to get you moving. 

A few words from Rachael:

"Afro house will always be the root core of what I play,  its unique deep-rooted sound moves me in ways nothing else can. Artistically also, being the resident artist for MoBlack Records and Inward Records I create EP and Vinyl covers for some of best Afro House producers there are. Listening to their tracks and drawing to the music I hear. 
With any mix I do, I start with recording my own vocals that relate to how the music feels to me but also with what’s going on in my life or where I’m at mentally. They are always provocative and playful, just as per the music I play. 
And so with this mix, as usual, it is full of the best carefully selected new Afro House tracks with a sprinkle of Indie Dance, Electronica and some Melodic Techno."

Samantha Loveridge - DJ, producer and label manager at "Inward Records". A woman of many talents with a deep passion for all things music. Today Samantha gives us a taste of what to expect from her as she joins us on Easter Sunday for a Fan Club + Blueprint + WeLove take-over of the Marlborough Hotel. 

A few words from Samantha: 

"If I were to label the music I produce and play, it would be Afro-House - but with a hint of organic and melodic. I’m a sucker for a track that stands out because of a unique sounding synth or catchy vocal. 

Artists I'm inspired by, and always check up on to see where and what they’re playing, are the Keinemusik gang (Adam Port, Rampa, &ME) Dixon, Eagles & Butterflies, Tale Of Us and Solomun.

I try to structure my mixes and take the listener on a journey. Not everyone is into Afro-House as much as other genres, so I like to include tracks with emotion and a rework of something they might know to engage them, which you will hear in this mix. Despite everyone's genre taste, music is something everyone connects with in their own way. Regardless of peoples race, religion, gender or sexuality, music connects people from all over the world and watching everyone come together and connect on the dance floor is magical to me.

DJ for about 25 years.
Previous genres.
RAVE, NU-NRG, Trance, ACID Techno, Hard House, Techno, Hard Dance, Tech Dance, Hard Style, etc.
In 2021, met gizm0x, makers of the TB-303 clone, and moved on to PEAKTIME TECHNO , MELODIC TECHNO and HARD TECHNO.

In the 1990s, influenced by RAVE, he started going to clubs. Influenced by the music and performance of YOJI BIOMEHANIKA, who he met there, he became a fan. From there, he became seriously into dance music and started DJing at clubs in the late 1990s.
In the early 2000s, he also experienced event staff.
In 2021, became resident DJ at Profoundradio.com in the UK.

Bio:

Beat Tekniks (Serdar Dubus) is originally Turkish. He used to live in Istanbul until 2018
then moved to the United States in 2018 and stepped into electronic music in Brooklyn,
NY. He accessed a huge music network in his baby steps and had chances to work with
numerous talented local artists from various genres. He started to spin at many gigs
from private events to club venues.
In 2022, he decided to relocate to Asia and settled in Cambodia; he got resident DJ
positions in different cities and played with local DJs. Towards the end of the year, he
started to promote his own event named as Phnom Penh Private Party.
His preferred genre is Techno and he loves playing powerful energetic tracks from rave
culture. He likes pushing the limits of creativity and finding new mixing styles. The sound
comes from underground music selection.

Sisyphos Driving Dreams Chapter 4.  The dream returned again, and it took me some days to realize what happened.
I could not ask for a better release party than this one!  I still get goosebumps when I think about the vibe and all the feedbacks I got for this set.   The Set has a lot of unreleased Tracks of mine and friends in it, so you get a small view of what is waiting for you in the next months. Thanks to all my producers friends for sending me all these unreleased bangers.   Sisyphos is always something else, and I can’t get enough of it. I want to say thank you to anybody who made it to this happening and for the insane vibes we created together.   It’s crazy what happened the last couple of months and to realize that playing regular gigs all around Germany, some international and in the best clubs of the cities is my self-made reality.   Hard constant work pays off and really enjoy the outcome of it. Thanks to everybody for being a part of my journey, to many more of these happenings!  I hope you will have fun with the record.   PS: We also made it to place 27 with Cypher in the Techno Hype Charts

As we all know, there really is no shortage of artists in the vast field of electronic music, especially in the German capitol of Techno that is Berlin. They come and go with trends and seasons, build their hypes, and eventually vanish into the social medial void our postmodern times have created. However, there are those ones which stand out, which stay stuck in the eyes and ears of the public, which play and produce themselves in the collective memory of our community. Tham is one of those. As resident and face of underground public favourites like SYNOID, Revier Südost, and Lebendig, in just a few years the young artist has proven that he’s one to stay, to watch and to listen to. Growing up on the dancefloors of Berlin – figuratively speaking – Tham’s artistic vision hails from and is always directed back to that very place which represents the crux of the matter of our entire subculture. His interpretation of Techno, his musical vision, lives on his drive to set people in motion. Pounding bass drums, complex grooves, and aggressive synth lines lashing through the crowd, taking their hypnotic effect. This is what Tham provides. Music ex machina, coming out of nowhere, binding the eyes, ears, and bodies of his audience to the floor, to the very present, sticking to their brains, billowing through their minds for hours, long after they’ve left the club.
