We are eternally grateful to the darkwave/post-punk communities for recognising and embracing us as one of their own, not least because, when we formed Lunar Paths in late 2021, we had no idea as to what musical genre we belonged! We simply threw stuff at the proverbial wall, in order to see what would stick. 
Our roots, as veterans of the original northern UK goth scene, undoubtedly played a part in determining our sound, but then so did the many seismic changes in the musical landscape that took place over the last four decades. 
We hear a lot of these influences in the new music of our peers, some of which sounds like it could easily have been made in the early 1980s, but, when it comes to pinning down and describing our own sound, it seems like an almost impossible task. 
Take, for example, this, our latest song, a downright peculiar blend of spoken word psychedelia shot through with sirens, darkwave drums and buzzing, post-punk guitars. We have not made anything like this to date. Indeed, each track that we make seems different from its predecessors–and yet we do undeniably have a ‘sound’ that is all our own, and recognisably ‘us’. 
So, how did Falling Star come to be? 
First of all, Kevin came up with an urgent, driving rhythm, soaked in subs. Diane found two blistering guitar samples, and proceeded to warp, stretch, transpose, slice up and stitch it all back together again. Kevin came up with a piano riff, and Diane created something that sounded a bit like a sitar. Then we added a bit of bodhrán, radio interference and tornado siren…. as you do. 
There was something about this tense mix of sounds that called to mind all those tragic, troubled people, real and fictional, who weigh so heavily on the hearts and minds of their friends because they are so clearly in some sort of distress, and who may or may not be a danger to themselves. The lyrics are rendered in spoken word, and in a cheery bubble-gum psychedelia that goes directly against the grain of this dark subject matter.

Τhe oddly named "(I'm) Full Of Spiders, Man!" is a 3 member horror synth-punk band from Athens, Greece, which emerged from the Greek underground scene seemingly out of nowhere on September 2019 as a desperate attempt of honest expression against a reality that has simply gone a bit too far.
They first appeared as a support act at the "Le Prince Harry" gig at "Ίδρυμα 2.14" (Ιdryma 2.14) on October 2019 and at the same month they recorded and released their debut album on the independent punk label "Είσοδος Κινδύνου" (Eisodos Kindynou) on a limited run of tape cassettes.
In the old world, before the COVID 19 situation arose, the band managed to perform 5 times in total at different cities around Greece.
This notorious band is one of an awkward geometry of both dark atmosphere and rad energy, maintaining a humorous approach on their criticism against all things the modern world stands for.

Γεμάτος Αράχνες!

Geheimnis Records/Music Productions was founded in August 2010. It's an indie record label, based in the centre of Athens, focusing on re-releases of lost and real hard to find sought-after records and cassettes. Focusing on the so-called Wave / Synth genre of the 80's and 90's, the purpose is to reveal obscure - and many times misunderstood - bands and artists to vinyl collectors and music enthusiasts, who are seeking into old record stores and the internet, just to find one piece at a time (and usually at a high cost...). Somehow, the label's name has to do with seeking lost treasures, therefore it's a secret (in English), a GEHEIMNIS (in German), μυστικό (in Greek), a secret (in French). The main difference is, that the purpose of the label is to expose this "secret" and not keep it for itself. And that's how the story begins !

In December 2011, almost one year after its first appearance, Geheimnis Records has officially entered the era of involving with new artists and releases of the contemporary synth / wave sound, linking the past with the future, the old with the new. And that's because rhythms and melodies didn't stop to be produced all these years, while talented artists are always an intriguing issue which keep our interest alive. So, the philosophy of the label, considering its involvement with new artists, has evolved in its deep meaning. The "secret" exists only in the very beginning. As long as the artist(s) - through our label - reveals his/her work, the "secret" is gone. Anything new has always a potion of secrecy and the label's initial purpose was, and still is, to find and uncover "secrets / geheimnisse".
