Dear friends & visitors: “Time” from the “The Dark Side Of The Moon”-album of Pink Floyd (1973) is another instrumental song project with my dear musician buddies Jimmy Quango, Honeyspiders and me. With this song and album I associate many great moments from my youth, when I listened to the songs with my buddies for hours and discussed the lyrics. A great time that I will never forget!! Jimmy Quango recorded the soulful fingerstyle acoustic guitar part. And Honeyspiders contributes with tastful ambient guitar sounds. I recorded and played all the other instruments (drums, bass, e-guitar, keyboards), did the song arrangement and the mixing/mastering. Honeyspiders and I did the video creation. Dear friends & visitors: Sometimes you miss someone and you feel like you're only half a person without them. In fact, I'm also missing my wife right now, who won't be with me for a long time. And she inspired me to write this vocal song. The original song has - how could it be otherwise - become a soft pop ballad with a retro touch. And I am very happy that my dear musician friend Jimmy Quango recorded it with me and contributed a very nice acoustic guitar fingerstyle part to it. In addition, he helped me to find the right path for a few moments of the song project with his opinion. I took over the songwriting, the recording of the vocals and various other instruments. Likewise the mixing/mastering and the video production. The video part itself is not a pure video for musicians this time, but rather a music video for music listeners. That's why you can only see Jimmy and me at the beginning of the music video. The rest of the video accompanies the lyrics in a way I hope you like. And I hope you enjoy this smooth pop ballad.
