From the sticks of Portugal to the heart of Bristol

Evan Toutz aka ET has been working in the underground electronic music industry since its beginnings during the mid 90’s in Chicago. Evan became deep-rooted within the scene working with a promotional crew called ATP. During the mid-nineties, ATP was well known for throwing large-scale underground events within the city limits. Their most notable events were the “Dee-Day” event series as well as the “Tornado-Twister-Twisted” events which had a heavy focus on Techno. Over this time period, Evan met a number of D.J’s and started amassing quite a large vinyl collection so he went from being a bedroom DJ to a performing DJ at events around the city.  Evan diverted his path out of the rave scene and into the Chicago club scene towards the end of the 90's as a DJ and Promoter performing at a number of well-known venues including Crobar, Karma, Vision, Red No. 5 and Smartbar.

Evan is the current label boss at “asqaured-muzik” formerly started by Angel Alanis. The label is set to relaunch September 15th, 2016 with two back catalogs and nine new releases over the coming months. With the relaunch of asqaured-muzik starting mid-September, Evan is planning a small mini-tour throughout the midwest to promote the relaunch of the label back where it all started. While his mixes are always different depending on the environment he plays in, Evan specializes in rolling Techno, Jackin’ House, and everything in-between. His sets are known to move entire dance floors into a frenzy. Evan’s been honing his craft for over 20 years and is always ready for a new venue and a fresh set.
