This song, written in New Orleans during my Follow The Music Tour granted me many opportunities during my trip.  Now coming into a new journey, it feels appropriate to share with you this piece! In early February, TunnelVision Artist, Dex R. Jones and I were able to collaborate in our first project, to shoot Confident! And now we're ready for release.  

We are coming very close to the release of my album.  TODAY we are kicking off the #JourneyTo619 Campaign as we gear up for the release of my debut album, "Audiobook" (Available for Purchase 6.19). Starting today we will be releasing new content every week leading up to Audiobook's release! This has been a very exciting process for me and I can't wait to share with you Audiobook in it's entirety!

This track is produced by @PRVDNT written and composed by @Geminelle .  This album's single, "Drive" came from the idea that there's always room to run away from your issues.  Inspired by Frank Ocean's "Swim Good", Geminelle often felt compelled to take long drives to clear her head.  After a negative encounter with a roommate, Geminelle sat in her car with her ukulele and wrote about running away from this issue.  Drive became the theme for AudioBook's album cover and is also a very big turning point in AudioBook's storyline!

Chapter 4: Drive

This track is produced by @PRVDNT written and composed by @Geminelle featuring Daniel Scott.  This track explores the dynamics of relationships gone wrong.  Words was written by Geminelle as an expression of many relationships she'd observed where her friends had relied on broken promises as a reason to stay.  Geminelle felt fed up with people's inability to keep their word, but also frustrated with her friend's reluctance to leave a situation that was not getting better.  In this song, Geminelle and Daniel Scott address these two frustrations.

Geminelle reflects on the many times she'd altered her image to make it more appealing to the world.  She soon realizes that her reflection has gotten out of control.

This track is produced by @AbJo written and composed by @Geminelle and @PRVDNT . After "Before You" was recorded as a jam session, the creative synergy was high and AbJo, PRVDNT, Geminelle, and James Malone sat around discussing concepts for this particular track.  A deep, yet simple song, arose out of this collaboration making it one of Geminelle's favorites on the album. She often recalls the energy that drew from that collaboration when she listens to it.

Geminelle wrote this song after a month of insomnia, she asked God to speak to her and it allowed her to free her mind and write this piece. Written in one sitting, once she completed it, she was able to sleep peacefully for the first time in a month.

After years of creating outside her neighborhood Geminelle felt good about working with someone who lived down the street from her.  To her, it was therapeutic to know that she had a place to jam very nearby her parent's family home of 36 years in Paradise Hills/Skyline!

One day 11 years later, Geminelle and PRVDNT revisited this track as a potential remake for "AudioBook". Geminelle fell in love with the new remake and thought it was a great fit for AudioBook's story line!
