The Last Time

This song, "Silent Farewell," is an emotive acoustic ballad that features a rich interplay of string instruments and powerful, soulful vocals. The track builds a melancholic yet cinematic atmosphere, beginning with intricate acoustic guitar fingerpicking and an atmospheric electric guitar melody. As the song progresses, the introduction of sweeping strings enhances the sense of longing and emotional depth before the vocals enter with a resonant, bluesy quality. The repetitive nature of the lyrics underscores a theme of realization and finality, making it feel like a poignant closing chapter or a reflective transition.

Silent Farewell

This song, written in New Orleans during my Follow The Music Tour granted me many opportunities during my trip.  Now coming into a new journey, it feels appropriate to share with you this piece! In early February, TunnelVision Artist, Dex R. Jones and I were able to collaborate in our first project, to shoot Confident! And now we're ready for release.  

We are coming very close to the release of my album.  TODAY we are kicking off the #JourneyTo619 Campaign as we gear up for the release of my debut album, "Audiobook" (Available for Purchase 6.19). Starting today we will be releasing new content every week leading up to Audiobook's release! This has been a very exciting process for me and I can't wait to share with you Audiobook in it's entirety!

Our temples are not an apology, our landscapes cannot be labeled and the drum that we dance to is a rhythm of our own system so listen, and once again fall in love with the body we were born in. With the sweetness of J Dilla's instrumental to Life, this spoken word and song is my medicine and empowerment to befriending these sweet bodies of ours. Ese my beauties :)
