And way too much emphasis is placed on production value; actual creativity and diversity are taking a back seat! Inventive lyrics also rarely get the credit they deserve. This indifference to the talents that actually set musicians apart plays into the hands of a money-minded music industry, signing our own death warrants!

Almost on a daily basis I am told by one Soundcloud user after another that my music is crap, that I have zero talent....what do you think? Are they right, or is it a case of sour grapes? And do you think I take it to heart :) No! What's heartbreaking for all of us is....WHEN NO ONE LISTENS!

MY APPROACH HAS ALWAYS BEEN, LET WHATEVER WANTS TO COME OUT, COME OUT; NO PLAN, NO BOUNDARIES, NO FORMULA, AND ON THE FLY! 

With so many people making music--literally tens of millions--there is a serious overcrowding problem, creating a wall of white noise; to stand out from that background, a musician must bring something very different to the table :)

Blending hard-hitting drums with heart-melting melodies, CHARROD is an EDM/Hip Hop producer raised in southern New Jersey. Self taught, CHARROD is inspired by legends such as Timbaland, Deadmau5, Dr. Dre, Wolfgang Gartner, The Neptunes, Armin Van Buuren and many others. He has worked along side independent artists from Slovakia, Bangladesh, West Africa, Romania, and even here at home with people from Louisiana and Virginia. CHARROD has an ear for many genres and has the ability to find talented artists everywhere he goes. Now located in New Castle County, Delaware, CHARROD hopes to continue bringing beats that will make your head nod and rhythms that will make your body move to the world.

stufly - aka Stuart Flynn - Sunshine Coast - Australian producer, composer, keys and bass player, passionate about creating unique music. Recently co writing with Pete York who opened the show with the latest track from my self titled album to 20,000 at the O2 Arena London in Dec 2016 supporting Fat Boy Slim. Other collabs have included UK award winning Elle Ray (Canada), Reach duo(Italy) and Zaza (LA). I aim to write the sort of tunes I'd want to listen to, and hopefully in the process others like them too. I initially create instrumental tracks of which 50% attract collaborations and evolve with various singers worldwide. Pop/old school verse/bridge/chorus type arrangements stem from the influence of music from growing up in the 70's-80's, but I also enjoy many of the current sonic trends and evolutions of styles. I've been influenced by Rudimental production team, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Australian pop, Various commercial artist including the Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, MJ, Prince. I'm always looking for more inspiration wherever I can find it. My fav producer/remixer at the moment is Kygo. I love getting real time feedback on my own uploads as well as discovering and sharing new and exciting tunes from others.
