In 2008 I started to use FL studio to write music, it started off as drum beats, then i started adding in the synths, vocals and other sounds, but it wasn't 'till a few years later when I started going out to these Psytrance events and hearing some of the proper tunes that so many people local and beyond were creating that i was inspired to take up a similar style in music, and from there I started to learn how to drive a track with its ups n downs, n upside-downs... 

In 2012 the Psytrance project "Torusphere" was started focusing on creating psychedelic sound scapes and intricate rhythms with rolling bass lines, mystical sounding melodies and inspiring vocals to take you on a journey to a place of love in your heart and higher awareness in your minds.

Many seek solace from the woes of everyday life through some form of escapism or another. Humanity has always looked beyond our realm for the concept of a solution; we have always looked outward towards infinity in search for meaning, inspiration, and utopia.

However this is a hopeless pursuit. Those who can only find beauty in the other are destined to be unfulfilled: for the further they push away from their place of natural conception, the further they wander from the very essence of their being.

This Side of Paradise was formed as a means of reminding those that are a part of it that this very earth we walk on is enough. That beauty lies all around us in everything we see. And touch. And hear. And smell. And in every soul we encounter. This is our utopia. Let's not forget it.
