It's that time of the month again. Podcast time! Having surfed the huge waves of DIYNAMIC's rise to fame in the recent years, the Swiss duo of Adriatique made name for themselves trough always being consistent, while at the same time never becoming boring. Slowly making their way from the more poppy side of deep house to the more melancholic side that labels like Innervisions and Life and Death populate, it's exciting to hear what Adrian and Adrian manage to serve up. That's why we're really happy to have them on board for this month's SEKOIA Podcast.

It is Monday the 22nd of December 2014 and we have new guests for the very first time on the CLR Podcast. The Kiev-based duo Woo York has come a long way from being Ukraine capital’s local heroes to becoming an internationally recognized live act with their own signature sound. They are not only residents of legendary Glaswegian label Soma Records and head honchos of Planet Rhythm, they have also been delivering one dance floor killer after another since the start of their career back in 2009. Known for their energetic live acts, Woo York combine experimental, dance floor oriented and avant-garde elements into a highly improvisational musical flow with a strong hardware background. The entire music in this set is performed and improvised live during one of their recent gigs and contains two tracks from their upcoming debut 5 tracker EP on Life & Death called The Valley of Songs.

Matteo & Amedeo Giovanelli are the latest recruits from the ever-growing Grey Area Bookings roster and we have caught them just before a rather exciting release of theirs. 

Some may have seen or even experienced first hand Vaal and the Life and Death crew hammering Mathame's highly anticipated EP at ADE this year which is due to arrive on Vaal’s very own Baastard label later this month. 

Having already released on labels such as Connaisseur Recordings and Souvenir Music the pair are certainly paving their way for a very interesting project within the underground music community.

So many beautiful experiences I have been through the last couple of weeks. From a beautiful gig in Lake Tahoe, to other crazy ones in LA, NY, San Diego and Austin. And then last week I had the privilege to play at the AfrikaBurn. A festival about 5 hours drive from Cape Town. I did two shows there. A sunset one and a pre-burn one. Both beautiful on its own. And when you hear the crowd scream: 'one more song, one more song' knowing that I already played 2 'more' songs....yes, then you know that they like what you do. That having said: I love bringing joy and happiness in your lives so the feeling is mutual! So straight from the heart another Deep & Sexy podcast for you guys. MatHame is the pseudonym of a young Italian artist. He has been living on the slopes of an active volcano, where he studies and works, for four years. He grew up upon hearing the remains of Radio Taxi, an 80's pirate radio station, once active in northern Italy. He's got a classical education through studying violin at the conservatory, where he, soon after listening to Alva Noto's Modul1, started dipping into the world of electronic music. So far so good.
