Vor nun mehr als 10 Jahren tauchte der Künstlername Bumich zum ersten Mal auf einem Flyer auf. Bereits in seiner Anfangszeit belegte Bumich den ersten Platz bei einem DJ-Contest. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt folgten zahlreiche Auftritte.

Die Möglichkeit einer Booking-Agentur beizutreten ergab sich bereits kurze Zeit später. In dieser lernte er seinen späteren Weggefährten Bukkeflipp kennen. Das DJ Duo BukkeBu war geboren. Dieses wurde für zahlreiche Events sowie von damals namenhaften Locations wie bspw. Sputnik Turntable Days, oder BPM-Club in Leipzig gebucht. Die Solokariere von Bumich startete 2007 in der Agentur Fine Flavor.

Neben seiner Tätigkeit als DJ übernahm er hier weitere Aufgaben im Bereich des Eventmanagements. Unter dem Markenname Fine Flavor werden bis heute regelmäßig Events im Raum Süd-Thüringen organisiert, an denen auch Bumich maßgeblich als Act beteiligt ist. Außerdem ist Bumich seit 2008 als Dj & Moderator bei mth.House, einem der wohl bekanntesten deutschen Internetradiosender, aktiv tätig.

Auch die erste musikalische Eigenproduktion war ein voller Erfolg. Neben dem eigenen Album erfolgte die Veröffentlichung auf zahlreichen Compilations, u.a. auf verschiedenen Compilations von Universal Music und die bekannte About Berlin mit Platzierung an der Spitze der iTunes electronic Album Charts.

Biography:

Born in 1985 in the United Kingdom the instigator first came into the world of music in 1993 when he learnt how to play the guitar.
The instigator loved the UK indie/rock scene with a passion.
By early 2004 he had lost interest in the guitar and started to love the hard electronic music.
Quickly he got his first pair of decks and started to spin the techno vinyl. 
As time passed, the harder side of techno started to emerge (SCHRANZ/HARDTECHNO), quickly he needed to start producing his own tracks and has never looked back. 

Now Instigator is a well known, extreme hardtechno DJ and producer hitting top sales in all the well known electronic digital download sites. 
He has appeared on all the famous hardtechno labels in the scene and is also a big part of the UK based label Kaos Extreme.

He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the scene such as Greg Notill, SveTec, Mark EG, Sepromatiq, Malke, Barbers and many more, producing some of the most dynamic, hard banging schranz tracks taking the hardtechno world by storm and hitting all top sales.
He also has his name on some of the top selling vinyl records of past years and has played at some of the worlds biggest hard music festivals and clubs, such as...

Liberty White Cronicals;
Fabrik (Madrid);

plus many many more. 

One of the highlights of his career was to play with some of his all time idols SveTec And Greg Notill and to do this on two of the biggest stages in hard schranz: Liberty White and Monegros to thousands of hardtechno fans. This was the dream come true. 

Nowadays he is known as one of the most hard hitting DJs and producers in the hardtechno scene with his extreme, fast hard mixes and pounding no messing schranz techno music.

General Rush (mit bürgerlichem Namen Christian Weiand) wurde 1981 in Flörsheim geboren.
Seine ersten Kontakte zur elektronischen Musik machte er Anfang der 90er Jahre mit „The Prodigy“ und der Radio Sendung „XXL Clubnight“. Dadurch wurde sein Interesse für härteren elektronischen Sound geweckt.
Christian kaufte sich sein erstes Equipment und startet selbst Progressiven Techno und Hardtechno zuhause zu mixen.
Nach einiger Zeit durfte er sein Können vor Publikum unter Beweis stellen und in einigen Clubs und Radio Podcast Shows seinen harten militärischen Sound auflegen.
Seitdem spielt er auf verschiedenen Events, in Clubs und verschiedensten Radio Podcast Shows seinen harten militärischen Sound.

General Rush (bourgeois name Christian Weiand) was born 1981 in Flörsheim (Germany).
His first experiences and contacts with the electronic sounds were based in the 90’s while Christian was listen to „The Prodigy“ and the radio show „XXL Clubnight“. Soon he get inspired to listen to harder electronic music and he organised his equipment for starting mixing at home in the genres progressive Techno and Hardtechno.
A little time has past until Christian alias „General Rush“ becomes the possibility to show his definition of harder military beats on an event in a local club.
Since that time he played in several clubs and events also in several radio shows.
