Through this album you will find 8 waves I've tried to seperate through tracks.
Each wave starts calmly, rises up to its highest peak, and splashes back into the gentle sea.
The whole album is 1 hour long and it has been created with the intention to be heard from start to finish as a one journey, one wave.
Each track is harmonized with the tracks around him resulting in a smooth deep dive into the melodies.

Through this album I've had the honor and privilege to play and co-create with the most amazing of artists, lucky me, they are also my family and friends.

Emotional Tourist has cemented himself as a pillar of XYZ’s artistic direction over the last two years. The Romanian first caught the ear via an rhythmically groovy remix of DSF, and last year’s The Day The World Meets You showcased the Emotional Tourist sound in its finest forms.

Oppo gives full creative control to the producer, who essentially functions as the label head on the project. Curating sounds from artists around the world who've influenced his journey thus far, as well as a pristine production of his own, Emotional Tourist presents a project that fully represents his tastes as an artist.

Erdi Irmak is simply one of the most eclectic producers in the deep & melodic scene. As he did on the inaugural Oppo, Erdi produces a serene soother. Hikikomori showcases the Turk’s ability to craft music for life’s slower moments.

Following two successful EPs finally comes the long awaited release of Stereoclip's first album. Since his first EP, 'It's About the Time' released on Délicieuse Records, media outlets across Europe haven't been shy to show their support. Following several features on top chart compilations released by French heavy weights like Wagram and Universal, Max came into high demand and was soon sent to tour through France and Belgium to showcase his music.

Getting back from this first experience, and following a self released second EP, Max decided to take his music in another direction while focusing on variating his instrumentals and at a set harmony. Many of his musician friends contributed to 'Hometown', infusing diverse influences from D&B to deep Berlin electronic music, as well as pop and rock n’ roll samples. For such an eclectic mix the result was surprisingly refreshing. Due to such an immaculate execution did the fusion of sounds mesh organically.

What brings a mere coherence to his past discography and recent album is Stereoclip's noticeable hunt for new soundscapes. He bridges the gap between unique concepts and varying instrumentals to create a solid and underlying sound identity.

SOL Sessions welcomes none other than Erdi Irmak on the latest edition of the mix series. The sublime Turkish producer is fresh from his debut on SOL with the thrilling ‘Outcast' EP. Irmak's prowess as a master of melodies and groove is well known with numerous appearances on the likes of Tale & Tone, Hoomidaas, XYZ and Where The Heart is.

The ‘Outcast' EP sees the Istanbul native delve deeper into the ambient world. The title track is a richly textured and atmospheric cut. Distant strings and soft synth-work set the scene almost immediately as a hypnotic melodic line rides front and centre. Delicate, emotive keys coat the surface, elevating the track into an irresistibly entrancing experience.

‘Swamp City' takes a darker turn. It conjures up a thrilling atmosphere with wavering synth-work and menacing arpeggiators. The harrowing feel is contrasted impeccably by a light melody that emergences once more with a hypnotic repetition.

The production for this EP began on the winter solstice of 2022 (22nd Dec) and it lead to the birth of the title track.
Each song was originally composed and recorded with real guitars and bass, with the drums being finger-drummed live.

This was my first release under Cozy Clouds Music. More releases will be out soon with this similar vibe. I hope y'all enjoy. <3

This installment of our White Label series comes from 18 year old London composer, songwriter, guitarist, singer & violinist, Tom Misch. Twelve: A number that conjures myriad connotations. For most of us it’s the essential measurement of black gold, the source of mystery that can only be extracted through a fine stylus. For others, it’s a way of measuring half days and dozens, zodiac signs or apostles. For Sorrow, it’s his latest EP.

Five stark, soul-arresting narratives deep, once again the Bristol beatsmith compounds his distinctive icy, introspective signature with rich detail, emotion and cavernous shadowy dynamics. His first full solo release of 2017, and his first EP on Inspected in over two years, ‘The Twelve’ follows a run of critical excursions, cameos and collaborations on the likes of Fent Plates and White Peach and continues to build on his unique status within the electronic game.

From the opening house subversions and foggy, mystical humanised textures of ‘Want U Back’ right through to the final smouldering beat abstractions and soft groans of the breath-taking title track finale, the entire EP is a trip into Sorrow’s innermost soul. In between we’re hit by the two-step trickery of ‘Reverie’, the heavy haze of ‘Frumoasa’ and the unabashed slo-mo gully of ‘Sheol’, each chapter telling its own Sorrowful tale, alluring you and spurring you to further corners of your thoughts… conjuring myriad connotations, like all good sources of mystery should.
