Hyperlink surfaces again with Global Tides, a compilation born from trust, instinct, and the sheer joy of making something together.

…What happens if we stop trying to make sense, and start trying to make contact? …What if a compilation was a séance? What if we told you Global Tides started as a ripple in the fabric? A strange invitation passed between frequencies, across borders, through the fog of daily mess? 

Built on friendship, laptops, and late nights, this one’s about opening doors and seeing what rushes in. Global Tides is a love letter to collaboration. To letting go of the map and building something you couldn’t draw in advance (even if your collaborator’s on the other side of the world). A shaky bridge built between cities, timezones, feelings. Each track is a little rift, a meeting point where two (or more) worlds rub against each other until something spills out. Sometimes it’s raw, sometimes it’s cinematic, sometimes it’s a noise that wasn’t supposed to be there, but we kept it anyway, because it felt like a truth. At the end, all of it feels real. 

This is a drift. A gathering of scattered thoughts and tangled dreams, shaped into music by people who trusted the process. There were no rules. Just collisions and alignments. No plan. Just a low, shared hum: let’s try. Some tracks dissolve, others erupt. One of them might haunt you.

The proceeds on Bandcamp go back into this machine made of glue and guts : mastering, artwork, promo... Hyperlink’s still powered more by feelings than funding.

hey everyone Thx for continuing to enjoy my mixes while i have taken a .... 4 year !! hiatus from creating them. There was a few deeply troubled years where I wasn't very inspired. Then for a few more years I found inspiration again but channeled all that energy into making my own music. Maybe it's the burgeoning sense of an impending summer but, Recently i was overcome with the undeniable urge to make another mix , just for fun. i hope this mix can facilitate the good times & the bad times for you. [solitude.] summer solstice ; 2025

Thousands of years in the future, humanity survives inside Nyambe, a vast, living arcology—a sentient, self-growing megastructure engineered through advanced CRISPR gene editing. The arcology burrows deep into the Earth, expanding like a biological root system. Its inhabitants, organized into nomadic tribes, know no other world. Their existence is defined by a single purpose: the descent. 

The people of Nyambe believe its heart lies at the Earth’s core, and so they journey downward, level by level. However, the arcology resists them. Safeguards—humanoid biomechanical entities spawned from Nyambe’s own flesh—attack intruders who descend too far. The tribes fight these guardians with bioengineered swords, weapons grown from the same organic-tech as the arcology itself. When a safeguard is killed, it sheds its face as a Nyau mask. These masks are more than trophies—they are interfaces. Wearing one allows a person to briefly connect with Nyambe’s consciousness, inducing a trance-like state of
visions and ecstatic revelation.

Every three months, when a tribe successfully descends to a new level, they hold a ritual celebration. Mask-bearers—those who have collected Nyau—lead the tribe in frenzied, rave-like ceremonies. The deeper they go, the stronger the masks’ connection to Nyambe becomes. These rituals are both religious observance and survival mechanism, reinforcing
their bond with the arcology that sustains and tests them.
