This tune is all about unfulfillment in your 20s - it's about realising that the 9-5 and 2 and half kids narrative doesn't bring you the happiness it promises. It tells the story of people doing things they think they're supposed to do, as young adults, but with no real joy or intention behind it.

'braincloud' is a spoken word song depicting a walk home from a night out, focusing on 2 characters lost in their thoughts/anxieties, bought to the light by their erratic drunken behaviour. The 2 characters have different stories, but are one and the same in many ways - they're both plagued by regret, weighed down by the things they wish to change about themselves. Produced in a bedroom studio, this song lets the lyrics speak for themselves - aiming to create a cinematic and layered song-story.
