* In 2009, I exported all 4 pieces as one file, then divided them for a CD. Between 2017 and 2019, I re-exported them as individual edits. "Hel" and "Chemical Reaction" had alterations to their mixes (especially the drum loop on "Hel", which was re-done in 2010). "Run" and "Defect" remain unchanged, other than "Run" having a fade out at the end and "Defect" simply being exported as a single file.

** "Revolution" was created during early 2010 (with a different title too), but had an odd sample playing at the same time as the kick drum. It was subtle, but noticeable enough for me to want to disable it in-session before exporting for a 2018 upload.

Composed during early 2008, this piece now finally has a home.

l8@night

Recorded with "Audio Rack 32" (redundant software by now) during 2010 on a single mic, all at once - no mixing (except the fades at the start and finish I added later) - after a couple of attempts. 

The FM Synth is from an old Win-3.11 machine, playing a MIDI file I composed on Reason and Anvil Studio. The voice of Cotton is from an old program called Sh** Talker (not sure if I'm allowed to swear in the description). 

The result is a funny-ish interlude... hence the title.

Nothing Special

Acoustic-styled software composition. 

This was one of my early attempts at using Reason. I discovered that the program came with all these acoustic instrument samples and was excited to compose this piece, with the intent to create something emotive and lush sounding. 

All the percussion was performed, recorded and sampled by myself. 

Despite the challenge of composing all of this with only a computer mouse, I have been enjoying the result for the past decade. 

Now it is time for me to share it with you.

Written and performed by the sisters of Rezzalp. Layered harmonies with a classically driven piano. This song is inspired by a scene from 'A Midsummer Nights Dreams' by Shakespeare.
