"Reno Tha Remarkable" was born in Chicago, Illinois. From an early age, this South-Side resident has been immersed in the sub-culture that is known as "Hip-Hop." He began breakdancing in grammar school, where he teamed up with the likes of "Common," "NoID," and "Derek D." He took his love for Hip-Hop music to the stage as a DJ. He naturally could count beats and became very successful at the art of DJ'ing very fast, booking gigs at major venues by the age of 15. At age 16, he linked up with "The Twilight Tone" and "ReggieKnow," where they launched the epic Chicago Dynasty, "Dem Dare." (now known as "The Darians.") He learned the craft of producing beats with the legendary "SP1200," and then the "ASR-10," chopping samples down to the white meat. He and his Godbrother, "John Monopoly," were notorious for their "chops" and sick drum patterns. Always true to the art, "Reno Tha Remarkable" still continues to beat down walls with trunk-rattling beats as one half of the production team, "The Co-Workerz." Now relocated in LA, he's been working with "Carl Thomas," "Ray J," "Mean Doe Green," and now Universal Republic recording artist "YP'". The rest, as they say, "is history."

I'm a flute player, an improviser/composer and I'm mostly making and performing my music in the jazz and experimental music realms throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.  My most active groups are Black Earth Ensemble and Black Earth SWAY.  I also do some composing for new music (classical) settings and make soundtracks.  And I really enjoy playing with my friends including Moor Mother, Tiger Trio, Indigo Trio, Rob Mazurek's Exploding Star Orchestra, David Boykin Expanse, Michael Dessen, Mark Dresser and others.

Genre Grey is an eclectic group of young artists, who are united by the same purpose: to expand artistic horizons .Genre Grey believes that true artists should not be limited to one style or genre. The group was formed to challenge musical boundaries, diversify styles and create new and unique sound. Following a trend is not for Genre Grey. 

EMILY JANE is a 14 year old sensation. 14 year olds usually don't have bios. She was born; she started singing; she learned how to play piano and guitar; she writes songs; she is raw talent! Emily is far from what one would expect of a teenage artist. Emily Jane has performed in several Jazz clubs in Chicago area as well as a number of festivals. Emily Jane describes herself as a song "she hasn't written yet". 

AIREEZ and JG have been writing and performing music together for nearly a decade. They started as hip hop artists during their teenage years and continued to perfect their craft ever since. A combination of their incredible talent, hard work, mesmerizing stage presence and broad perspective on music is the driving force behind their unique sound. Aireez and JG have released numerous albums under the name "Cache City", which sold thousands of copies. They performed hundreds of shows throughout Chicago and Midwest region over the years and worked with a number of well known artists in different genres. 

Genre Grey's debut album "Train of Unwritten Song" is a perfect reflection of their beliefs; it combines elements of hip hop, jazz, alternative rock and a unique Genre Grey sound.
