“The Gents” are an East London/Essex based rap duo, with a band. They thrive in the live atmosphere, weaving flow and vivid lyricism to the soulful vibes that their band provide. Their content and brand is centred on the experiences and journey undertaken to ‘do better’ – staying as true to the virtues that come with their title as possible. Their sound has been described as ‘a warm bath of neo hip hop’. Having been committed to their craft for a few years now, they are set to release their debut, independently recorded EP ‘The Vibe’ early 2021.
Members of the band have toured nationally and internationally at festivals such as Wireless and Glastonbury & have played for artists such as Emile Sande, Little Sims and Ray BLK. As a collective ‘The Gents’ have performed over London and Essex, including venues such as Troy bar in Shoreditch & Dingwalls in Camden.
