"Dark Desires" is an alternative rock song, opening the new inovative album "Alien Love". Crafted as a conceptual journey of antithesis, split across two parts, each containing six tracks, the album tells a story of contrasts, choices, and life’s emotional dualities. Each song on the first disc is mirrored and challenged by its counterpart on the second disc. Disc 1 opens with “Dark Desires”, while Disc 2 responds with “Antithesis of Desire”, and so on for the rest of the album.

Genu has a unique sense of musicality that manages to draw inspiration from a broad range of genres whilst still feeling wholly original.
Genu’s music, highly melodic and strikingly creative, ranges from Chamber Pop and Acoustic Ballads to Pop Rock or Alternative Rock. Genu is a singer/songwriter, but he is also producing his own compositions.
Genu started playing the guitar at the age of nine. However, as a fun fact, it was not the guitar the first instrument he learned to play: at the age of six, he started taking accordion lessons. At the age of fifteen he formed his first rock band, called Timpul (The Time).
He wrote the music for theatrical pieces (and played that music live in those shows) and won several awards for it.
In November 2020, his song "Come Closer" made its debut on Romania's national radio station and several other radio stations around the world.
