A Brief Utopia (A project by Jinjé) A Brief Utopia was born from an EP released earlier this year by Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm from Vessels) on Scene Unseen. Stepping away from his usual production duties and focusing more on his passion for live drumming and percussion instruments. This was the starting block for much of the composition on the this record. He quickly realised that this would be a brilliant thing to do live and reached out to fellow musicians Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra, Gentleman’s DubClub) and Nathan Moseley (Fwar, Brolin) to put together a high energy show aimed at clubs and festivals alike.A Brief Utopia brings a colourful, vibrant and visually engaging experience. Drawing on a love of music from around the world focused through a lens of live drumming, tuned percussion and psychedelic synth work.

À ceux qui n'ont pas connu les débuts de SoundCloud, une clarification est nécessaire. Je n'ai composé aucun des morceaux de cette playlist. Cette plate-forme était le seul moyen, lorsque YouTube n'aspirait pas encore tous les morceaux de musique, pour échanger des morceaux de musique peu connus en haute qualité sonore sur les réseaux sociaux. Ensuite, une intervention des protecteurs des droits d'auteur a entraîné le retrait d'environ cinquante morceaux. C'est dommage, mais c'est ainsi. Je remercie les auteurs et compositeurs qui ont contribué à mon maigre butin ici.

For those of you who weren't familiar with the early days of SoundCloud, a clarification is in order. I didn't compose any of the tracks on this playlist. This platform was the only way, when YouTube wasn't yet sucking up all the music, to exchange little-known pieces of music in high sound quality on social networks. Subsequently, an intervention by copyright protectors led to the removal of around fifty tracks. It's a shame, but that's the way it is. I would like to thank the authors and composers who contributed to my meagre haul here.
