Halmahera (piano version)

Ned Bigham’s latest composition features a stunning two-piano collaboration between Lynda Cochrane and Judith Keaney, performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (conductor: Jean-Claude Picard). The performance was recorded in the RSNO’s state-of-the-art recording studio at City Halls Glasgow. This version presents a fresh classical/jazz crossover, elegantly blending diverse cultural influences from British Minimalism and Brazilian rhythm to the vibrant sounds of 90’s. The track was co-mixed by Sir Robin Millar MBE, producer of Sade and Everything But The Girl.

Feat the vocals of Trinah & Kalli and from the album ‘Between Two/Between Voices,’ this is a collaborative work of classically trained Ned Bigham and producer Chris Hufford, uniting electronica, orchestral soundscapes and sonic experimentation.

They have been involved in many other diverse musical projects, such as producing early Radiohead tracks, managing Supergrass, composing brass fanfares for Southwark Cathedral and drumming for Nenah Cherry.
