I also created something like a song using improvised guitar fragments 
(I've been really into it lately). 
With a drink in hand, of course.
 
It's been a while since I used a compact effector. 
I want a multi-effector.

This one started off nearly a year ago, when the Eclectic Collective was just coagulating, and is the first one to feature Tez, Ken, JJ, and Josh on a song. JJ came up with it, drawing from his deep well of creativity, on the electric piano and bass, and shared it with the rest of the us. Starting with Ken, who added a phenomenal drum track to work with. Josh then added his guitar in a way that tried to emulate Miles Davis, albeit just an impression. Then we asked Tez to mix it for us, which he did ably as ever, and we released it early last spring. 
  However, Tez, being the always tinkering producer that he is, decided to dust it off and give it a new bass line to match the ferocity of Ken's drums. He then remixed it and added some production effects, making the song it was meant to be. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

A Quiet Way Psych Remix (Eclectic Collective)

In the soft light of the late afternoon, adrift in a daydream, they wandered back to yesteryears. Memories flooded their senses, conjuring images of sunlit afternoons and the laughter of bygone days. They savored the familiar tastes of childhood treats and the warmth of family gatherings. With a gentle touch, they traced the worn edges of old photographs, each one a doorway to a cherished moment in time. As the sun dipped below the horizon, nostalgia enveloped them, a gentle reminder of the beauty in remembering. In that fleeting moment, they found solace in the enduring embrace of fond recollections, forever etched in the fabric of their being.

Late Afternoon Daydream

In 40 years of loving classical music, string quartets always seemed a bit chaotic to me; even structured, delicate, mannered Haydn, Mozart, seemed, to me, on the verge of flying out of control. Here is a bass quartet (I like the lower tones of the bowed instruments) that flirts with - no, hugs and squeezes - chaos.
