Ovnimoon presents Voyage, his magical 8th solo studio album, making this his 12th full length album release. Ovnimoon is back, after the success with his previous albums with a solid new style characteristic of himself, mixing the best elements of the Psytrance and Goa universes. In this album, the roots of classic Goatrance music are present and with 2 pure old gold sounding tracks, we hear an evolution in the career of Ovnimoon.  Hector Stuardo is a multifaceted artists, who throughout the last few years, has presented many releases with different styles, Hedustma (Dark Techno), 3 Access and You (Club Prog Psytrance) , and ambient as OM plus his collaboration with Ascent as The Key, and Ovnimoon Vs Rigel projects. Voyage is Hectors’ newest work after a break from Psytrance music production, and it shows that he is back, onto his own path and vision, tapping into his original and signature mystical formula with a unique point of view. This new album is a mixing of progressive trance combined with the roots of this music genre, Psy and Goatrance! As always Ovnimoon music style is built on hypnotic arpeggios and deep atmospheres, running as long as possible, this is the basic idea for the music called TRANCE. “Lost”, much like its predecessor “Into the Great Wide Yonder” (2010), serves not only as a logical continuation of his work, but also as yet another fuck-you to whatever genre you thought you had him boxed into. The Trentemøller sound is definitely left intact, yet as a whole it really doesn’t sound like anything he’s ever produced before. Few artists seem to possess that special talent of leaving the audience just as baffled as they are satisfied, but hey, that’s what’s great about Anders. He may alienate a few heads along the way, but it wouldn’t be interesting for him if he didn’t.

“Lost” boasts a dozen tracks with something of interest for anyone who’s ever been a fan of the Copenhagen based producer. You can’t really compare it to “The Last Resort”, but the club elements are there. It definitely isn’t “Into the Great Wide Yonder” either, even if it’s equally guitar driven. It’s as original as it is classic, mixing the tried and tested with all sorts of sonic surprises. And making it look easy in the process.

Differing from “Into The Great Wide Yonder”, which was a rather bold cinematic landscape, “Lost” is definitely a far more streamlined affair and way more “song structured”. It’s the kind of record one can only produce after endless months of studio isolation. Just where his creativity flourishes best.

That said Trentemøller has also found a new home – and it’s on stage with a band. “Lost” relays this epiphany in pitch perfect circumstances, finally merging the extrovert and introvert qualities the man has in his command.

Of course, none of his productions would be complete without those unique guest appearances, spanning a multitude of musical categories. They’re all given equal treatment when they’re dropped bang center into the middle of Trentemøller's very own musical universe, having to harness the potential of their talent on Trentemøller’s terms. It certainly isn’t that many folks who are capable of convincing Jonny Pierce (The Drums) or Sune Wagner (The Raveonettes) to appear on a club track and even fewer who are able to pull it off. Anders is in the top percentile of that lot. 

”I think it’s fun to take people out of their own musical comfort zone” he exclaimed to VICE earlier in the year when explaining his seemingly erratic choices. ”Actually, when I begun writing the songs, I had their voices in my mind all along. They just didn’t know it.”

Aside from Sune and Jonny, Trentemøller has managed to bring on board a whole rake of fantastic peers, personal influences and sprouting talent. Co-conspirators such as Kazu Makino (Blonde Redhead), Jana Hunter (Lower Dens), Marie Fisker, Ghost Society and none other than the legendary slow-core pioneers Low are all to be found on the record.

That trademark haunting feeling that defined both ”The Last Resort” and ”Into the Great Wide Yonder” hasn’t been neglected on “Lost”. It’s just been redefined and made way more ferocious, the signature glitchy bass being replaced by sub woofer frequencies far more pounding. Almost punk rock. Instantly conjuring up thoughts of the more droning SUICIDE tracks or even contemporaries like The Soft Moon.

”Lost” documents an artist really hitting his stride. An intricate musical tapestry woven over countless sleepless nights in his Copenhagen studio. Nights invested in instrument experimentation and trashed analog consoles.

You can without a shadow of doubt call this release a genuine study in the art of attention to detail. No matter how many times you press play on this one you’re going to find something you missed the previous time around. Something that suddenly shines a whole new light on what you’re listening to.

During the last two years, Ritmo, aka Dubi Dagan, curated special moments, vibes and emotions that encapsulate these time fractions and compress them into a sonic universe. Collaborating with top tier artists such as Ace Ventura, Astrix, Liquid Soul, Suntree, Gaudium, and Sphera ­​Adventures ​goes into eclectic dimensions. While each piece bringing its own version of the trip, together you can feel you went through one story, where the end is up to you.

A 2 in 1 special Iono episode is coming to you with RITMO, who’s also on his way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016, and his newest album Adventures.

Some say that our pulse gives us the rhythm of our body, life and soul. This rhythm is changing while we walk, run, eat, jump or have sex. Dubi Dagan, aka Ritmo, has managed to formulate a unique technique that captures moments in our lives and translates them into an addictive rhythmic Progressive Trance creation.
Dagan has been tuning his sound skills as a resident DJ at the Luna Club at Haifa, and later as a sound engineer at DubiDub studios, a company responsible for dubbing television and cinema. Hungry for the perfect sound, Dubi started to create his own music, and in 2007 joined the acclaimed Iono Music records. In 2008, he released his awaited debut album “Disharmonic Silence” and immediately gained attention and popularity, locally and globally.
After the release of the debut album, Dagan had little rest or sleep due to the massive number of collaborations and gigs he had done across the world. Among the many incredible events he took part in were Fusion festival (Germany), Ozora Festival (Hungary), BAT (Argentina), Tribe (Brazil), Xxxperience (Brazil), Universo Paralello Festival (Brazil), Eclipse 2012 (Australia), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Love & Light (South Africa) and many more.
In 2009, Ritmo released “Archive 9” collaborating with artists and forms of remixes. His remix for MUTe & Shay Nassi – On Off, topped the Beatport charts at the Psychedelic Trance section, for 2 weeks. Always exploring his musical skills, Dagan has joined forces with Alon Brillant (Suntree) in a project called RITREE, as well as a project called Arctic with Gaudium.
In 2011 Ritmo released “Phrase A” and then in 2013 “Phrase B” which mark another development in crafting his sound. His most ambitious project to date is his current new album – “Adventures” – which comes out in 2016. This magical soundscape captures and modulates the diverse rhythms Dagan absorbed during his tours across the world. “Adventures” shows Ritmo’s sonic versatility, where he also collaborates with major acts such as Astrix, Ace Ventura and Liquid Soul.
