Seven Succulents is a continuation of my 2009 release Six Silicates. Where Six Silicates was a nod to crystals, Seven Succulents explores the weird and wonderful world of desert plants. The music thrives and grows from a single seed, winding its roots delicately through sand, communicating through beacons of sound sent across vast arid landscapes. The songs are named after plants I have tended and cared for over the years, and the collection exists as an homage to the wonders of nature; a love note for quiet desert foliage.

Omnivox is the Goa and Psychedelic Trance project of Tomislav Crnčić from Zagreb, Croatia who has been a part of the electronic music scene for 20 releasing and DJing various styles. Known for originally releasing under the project name Vox with a full length album called Innerpolarity plus many great compilation releases. Continuing forward with the new project Omnivox, Tomislav has transformed and refined his sounds for his new vision and goals, while continuing to release singles and compilation tracks, he also presented his second full length album to the world through Spacedock records called Fragments of Evolution.

After many successful releases throughout the last few years on leading psy & goa labels, he returns with his second all new exclusive full length album! Goa fans have been eagerly waiting for each of his releases ever since his monumental tracks first were leaked to the djs in 2006. Now a bright spotlight will shine focused to hear the magic music this man has created of any genre, using his all hardware studio. With this voyage we hear how deep and widely imaginative this master class musician’s twisted mind can be when making 145 bpm cosmic full power melodic Goa Trance. LSD has been working hard on finding a perfect mix of classical and underground musical traditions blending the new and the old into this special potion which when taken will quickly lift all listeners high into the stratosphere and beyond. Danny Marshall has always been involved with music on the cusp. Beginning with playing the drums at age 16, he was captivated first by the raw metal coming out of the late 80s, and then by the psychedelic rock popular amongst the free-thinkers and outdoor party originators of England. A move to the picturesque top of the South Island of New Zealand saw Danny attend one of the seminal dance parties in New Zealand history ‘The Gathering’, which turned him on to the new sounds coming from studio innovators all around the world. He began Djing psy-trance and soon landed a spot on Nelson’s most popular dance-music station Fresh FM. Continually spinning quality sets on the airwaves led to Danny being phoned up frequently and asked to play at parties all around the region. It was in 2001 that Danny helped found what would become one of the most popular and enduring outdoor parties in New Zealand ‘Stardust’. While involved in the production and music of these parties for the first few years, Danny bought himself a PC and set about teaching himself music production. In 2006 his trance project Lectro Spektral Daze was conceived. From beginnings in minimal and experimental beats, he has now honed his engineering skills and is pumping out large, spacious, dance floor pleasing psychedelic music with a distinct edge. Danny has released music with iconic NZ label Fever Records, Southern Cross Records, as well as Goa Records, Geomagnetic, Power House Records as well as releasing his debut full album, “Psytrance Stole My Space Engine” on Timewarp.

Timewarp presents Persia Vibe’s debut release called Lost in Space. Ali Katiraei was born in Iran. He got acquainted with electronic music in his early youth and over time was more interested in that. He has tried and listened to many different music styles from House and Trance to the soundtrack of computer games. It did not take so long for music to become his main interest in life. Later during his high school, he got known the world of Psychedelic music just by accident, and used to like Nitzhonot music more than every other music style. But, these were just the beginning since with more quests he got familiar with Goa Trance. Nitzhonot and Goa Trance styles had high tempo and their melodies were more eastern and for these specifications he made a deep connection with them. Ultimately, he was a professional listener and then he decided to be a composer to make his contribution to promotion and enhancing the music. Facing all the existing limitations, increasingly he achieved more progress with the help of some of his friends. The Melody is the most important part of his songs. After years of hard work now the result is prepared as an EP just for you.

Artist Profile:
Alex from France has been promoting and supporting the psytrance and goa movement in France since its inception. Since then he founded one of the more visible independent music download shops in France and offers unique and special music not found on other sites. With this in mind he chose many of these hits that have reached legendary status on his site and included them in this hit compilation! =)

DJ/VJ Doctor Spook (San Francisco, Goa Records) Also known as Nathan Vogel, Spook is an award winning 3D animator and music video director. He began creating psychedelic visuals in 1992, receiving critical acclaim for all of his projects. Nathan has worked with major music labels such as Arista, Geffen/Universal, Sony, Om and now with all of the most prominent Psy-trance labels with ground breaking new releases. ¬Spooks passion for electronic music drove him to start making music in 1990. He began DJing Psy-trance at the Burning Man festival in 1998.
