MONTEMAPU (Save the Earth) "Written in Mapudungun, language native to Chile, the Mapuche tribe or as named by the Spanish Araucanian" This name was founded with the purpose of raising awareness of the environmental problems that exists right now in the world. The Global Studio Blue was founded to produce the festival and as a center-point for joining tribes in Chile and abroad. Having created this festival for the understanding and the awakening of human consciousness in relationship to our natural surroundings we seek the awakening of a new age of humanity’s respect of nature and life itself in all forms.  So we decided to give shape and substance to "MONTE MAPU" for which we have chosen to make this festival aimed primarily at creating awareness among the population, mainly in young people. Our goal is to deliver our message across cultural, artistic and musical mediums, as well as entertain our audience; we also encourage them to become aware of ways to live pure and providing information that helps them understand the current critical state of the planet. It is our intention to also provide basic tools that provide crucial help in the various forms that exist for the sake of the ecosystem support and our goal is to create a staff of activists for the development of the planet as a place humans can live in harmony with nature.
To celebrate the festival for all our friends around the world we decided to make a compilation of music featuring artists who played at the festival and also supporters of the cause. The CDs are compiled by our friend and local Chile based producer, Ovnimoon (Chile, S. America) who has released four amazing albums plus four memorable compilations and numerous great singles on many of the leading label's compilations such as Iboga, Moist, Goa Records, Geomagnetic, Iono, YSE and more! His experience and style as both a DJ and a professional Trance/Downtempo producer combine to allow him to cultivate a sound beyond the standard Dance floor fodder most DJs look for.
