Ovnimoon Records is excited to present this collaboration album from two of our very good friends and musicians from Serbia, Ascent and Nature combine their audio wizardry with this 10 track album titled Hypnotico. Already very well known and respected in the time they have been releasing as their individual projects, these amazing progressive minds join to create something extra special with their signature spiritual and deeply atmospheric sound ideas. With each beat and melody the listener is taken within their soul and cleansed of all fear and pain when the urge to move your body takes over after the mind has drifted off in meditative bliss. Also included on this album is an exclusive Ascent & Nature remix of the song from Ovnimoon’s last album called Transmutation. Ascent is Bojan Stojiljkovic and he has released two chart topping albums, 12 plus digital releases and much more with his side projects such as Ascent & Argus making downtempo psychill with his brother Branko, another progressive projected called Elgiva with his friend Milan aka Astral Sense and also a Fullon Goa Psytrance project called Demetria with Stefan Stefanovski aka Tesla Principle he has also done collaborations with Liquid Sound, Ovnimoon, Shogan, Alchemix, Dual Resonance, Elegy, Argonnight, and more. Nature is the Progressive Psytrance project of Nebojsa Vidic where he is focusing on old school ideas, with strong kick and bass, combining many elements of progressive, psychedelic and forest music. Trying to take you in state of meditation and to keep misticysim and spiritualism in psytrance music. Nature focused on eastern melodies, deep atmospheres and the sounds of nature itself, relaxing and meditative sounds to make you feel free, and to drift away with your mind. He made his debut release in Ovnimoon Records with his tow ep’s Forest Ritual and Night Fair which both sold and charted very well and Nature has collaborated with great names such as Ovnimoon, Ascent, Norma Project and many more to come.

For nearly two decades, Amani Friend has been at the helm of the global-electronic project Liquid Bloom. Feeling equally at home on the international festival dance circuit, in the yoga studio, and in the more subtle sonic spaces reserved for intentional ceremonies guided by ancient allies, the wide-ranging artist collective under the umbrella of the Liquid Bloom project spans distance, time, and dimensions of the mind.

As one half of Desert Dwellers, Amani brings his dance floor guidance and experience to harness a deeper, transportive journey, giving as much weight to calm and the serene as to the ecstatic groove. As founder of Liquid Bloom, he has guided the project through its many lives, and its many rebirths at the hands of remixers AtYyA, Hedflux, Numatik, and Mose to name a few. Joining Amani on stage and in the studio is one-man looping orchestra Poranguí, whose own globe-trotting journey has made his musical upbringing as varied as the instruments he lays before him. A Liquid Bloom performance with the Brazilian-born, U.S.-based artist sees him bounce between didgeridoo, kalimba, and vocals with ease, as he celebrates percussion and instruments from around the world in a dizzying collection.

The Liquid Bloom experience unfolds in a multitude of incarnations. Amani is able to craft deep, entrancing journeys during his solo DJ sets. As a duo, Amani and Poranguí are able to balance and weave the organic and the electronic within their performances. With multi-instrumentalists, singers, and performers like Kaminanda, Deya Dova, Shamans Dream, and Ixchel Prisma, the Liquid Bloom live band springs to life, bringing the catalogue into view through an entirely different lens and bursting with a vibrancy and depth of artistic harmony.

By now you will have heard me raving on about Grouch on facebook. For me, and many others, he is one of the true masters of psychedelic music, and a hugely inspiring character! I got to spend a couple of days with him when I was in Australia earlier this year, and we played around on our laptops, producing as many cool sounds as we could in the time we had. After this, we went home and each produced a track using those sounds as the basis. This is my version, and it will be coming out on Broken Robot in December 2012. Grouch's version will be coming out sometime in 2013, i'll keep you posted!

Ovnimoon Records is honoured and excited to have the amazing opportunity to present the second full length album from Russian musical goddess: Maiia. This pristine auditory excursion explores the magical realms of the inner energy conduits that interconnect the cosmos and all living creatures: Shakti! Spanning styles from spacey uplifting chillout to enchanting progressive trance you are constantly impressed with her range and breadth of her creative talent and self-expression. Translated from sanskrit, MAIIA means magic, illusion, power, fruit of cosmic creativity. Through the music of our project we aim to attract listeners to explore ancient ethnic rhythms and magic sounds that filled the universe even at the times where no civilizations existed. We wish to remind people of the Nature surrounding human beings and to bring joy and love to their hearts. Maiia (real name Alla Vagner) took her first lessons of acoustic guitar at the age of 12. She challenged the role of a bass player in several metal bands later on, giving club concerts around the city of Moscow.
In 2004 Maiia gets involved into different kinds of electronic music. She starts expressing herself as a downtempo DJ in 2005, playing her beautiful sets at the best club venues of Moscow. Her DJ sets get lined up at such huge events as KLUSA DABA (the largest ambient open air in Latvia), Rhythms of Peace (Morocco), Planet Art Eco Festival (Ukraine, Crimea), Systo Palty Gathering (coast of the Finnish Gulf), Trimurti (Russia). In 2006 Maiia's passion to electronic music evolves into music production. She draws her inspiration from the sounds of Nature and ancient ethnic music.  On regular basis Maiia records conceptual dj sets mixing various styles of downtempo. Her music is being broadcasted in multiple radio shows around the globe. Maiia is an often guest at the world's largest electronic music online radio station DI.FM (USA).  In 2009 Alla assembles her ethno psy chill band for live performances, consisting mainly of female musicians. The band inherits the name of its leader - MAIIA. Alla acts as the band's music author and producer. In addition to various synthesizers, many of Alla's recordings feature sounds of live instruments and vocals. As such in some the tracks you will hear the "cosmic guitar" of Mikhail Finogenov (aka beta700a), flutes, the overtone singing of Olya Zemlianika and Galina Shetinina's magic cello. Starting from 2008 MAIIA's music gets published on various compilations. In autumn 2009 MAIIA release their first EP entitled "Forest Magic".First album of MAIIA  - “Sacred Knowledge of Ancient Civilizations” released on Altar Records  In April 2011.
