For me, an opening set is the foundation and the basics, a calm pulse and a beginning that sets the tone for everything that will follow.
An opening done at the right pace requires patience and restraint, not to jump too quickly into a fast rhythm, but to gently and carefully ease the mind into a state of deep listening to the language that music speaks, where the body and soul fully surrender to it.

Of course, there's also the musical story - one that is always different, depending on the vision of the event and the personal journey I’ve gone through leading up to it.

This story has a ceremonial-tribalistic vibes, made for a special gathering.

Wegha started DJing in 1994 and his first encounter with goa trance was in 1996. Since 1998 he has been a constant and significant member of the Hungarian psychedelic scene and has played a major part in shaping it. As a DJ he quickly formed his individual style while his sense and passion for community building also developed. He organized one of the most successful underground club event series of the millennium in Budapest, the DeepSmile Café. In the mid ­2000s he debuted and performed live, creating with the legendary Turbopauza formation with great success and he also opened and ran one of the undisputably benchmark clubs of the psy scene, theSocial Club. Openness and sensitivity towards new sounds characterize his career so he has tried himself at a number of subgenres while always staying true to his psychedelic roots. Thanks to this for the past five years he has been the heart and soul of O.Z.O.R.A. Festival and the ‘One Day in’ series, and has been invited to numerous significant international and home events. He has also been running two underground party series ‘VégrePéntek!’ and ‘Chakacsütörtök’ for decades in Hungary.

I love making sets for people to enjoy in their cars, on their mobiles and in their homes, and I do a lot of those… But then came Trancentral, with a request to make a different kind of mix, one that would surprise, challenge and take the listener to territories he wouldn’t expect from me. The result is a two hours journey from 90 to 180 BPM, covering a lot of styles and genres, from abstract downbeat electronica, ambient, dub and retrowave, to Zenonesque prog, disco psy, night time forest and even some hi-tech spice on top of it all. My goal was to have a good flow between all of this, and to keep it interesting, groovy, and most importantly, always psychedelic. I hope you enjoy the ride.
