Hello everyone, you are back in tune to our exclusive weekly Progcast, welcome on board! We deliver the finest DJ sets from around the far flung reaches of Planet Progressive directly to your door, lets see where we have landed today...

It's a transatlantic flight from Oslo to Barranquilla as we head back to Colombia. Filled with musical talent much like its more famous neighbour, we continue our pursuit to unearth the scene's hidden gems deep in South America, fresh with a myriad of remix work on The Avenue Label group, we've found another one! Time to get your groove on, with BERDU! 

BERDU is a Producer and DJ from Barranquilla in Colombia, whose styles are Progressive House, Organic House and Melodic House, with some deep melodies, emotions and grooves.

He first became interested in music while watching DJ Tiesto on TV playing at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. But it was at the beginning of 2022 that he started taking production classes.

Fast forward to 2020 and Berdu had moved from dancing in front of the decks to playing as a DJ, inspired and influenced by Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha and John Digweed. Within 3 years he was playing for Gux Jimenez's party in Barranquilla.

He has two collaborations coming very soon, they will be released with Mike Khol from Colombia for the label La Cura De La Semana, and another with Vihanga from Sri Lanka to be released on Droid9. Check out both of these two in this mix, E N J O Y !
