Salvo Pizzuto is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who has always had a passion for deeper electronic music, clubbing and listening to his favorite DJs over time have shaped his tastes to the point that it is. currently. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown and is one of the very few DJs in Sicily to promote deep / experimental techno. His inspirations come from the wonderful nature that surrounds him and from mysticism. Its sound is based on dark and ambient percursions and modulations.
Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey by recreating soundscapes.
His curriculum is constantly growing, he has made several publications
Nfeere, Space Texture, DNC LIMITED, DOSIS RECORDS, LETT RECORDS, THE CODE, ERAM RECORDS AND Charybdis under the pseudonym of SAAM.

On this remarkable day, the Arkiv is excited to present to you podcast number 126 contributed by Hoedus. The Rome-based artist knows exactly how to deliver an unparalleled selection, characterised by a versatile approach where he explores different sonic dimensions and boundaries. The almost 2-hour recording truly creates a captivating atmosphere that will undoubtedly spell you away.

In a little less than 2 months (June 16th, Hoedus is releasing an absolute smashing EP on the label Mental Modern, which includes a remixed version of the track 'Broken Mirror' from the acclaimed and inimitable producer Anthony Linell. On top of that Hoedus is planning to release another forthcoming EP on Monday Off later this year. Definitely worth keeping an eye out for these noteworthy releases.

Over the years, he has developed a strong musical identity, intense and singular,  where incisive techno is mixed with icy atmospheres. 
His work could be described as Cinematic, Cold Techno, with a strong emphasis on complex rhythms, dark sound design and contemplative melancholy.

A set full of personality and a really original sound is what's on the table for this one, with a lot of diverse nuances built around a well  defined & crafted palette.

CODECAST X - Clarence Rise - Mechanized Spells

The second performer in our series is Terminal Sync, from Italy, whose musical style reflects the essence of our movement. 

Also, I am pleased to announce that we will have the pleasure of welcoming him as the main performer at our upcoming first party!

The podcast consists of a blend of older techno gems combined with newer tracks. While listening to the mix, the alternating atmospheric tracks and hypnotic rhythms guide the listener through various landscapes.

ACT 02 - TERMINAL SYNC

Born in Sardinia, Berlin-based DJ and producer.
Luca's sound is a hypnotic deep techno wave, that has been embraced by the best underground clubs in Rome for the last 10 years. Starting with Goa (where he was resident for 7 years) and then Rashomon, Vicious and other underground parties (the most recent being RARE:). He went on to play in other international clubs, as the legendary Tresor in Berlin. He has always rigorously played vinyl.
Over the years he has also approached production: in 2005 he successfully completed a diploma at Digital Audio Technologies (DAT) in Rome.
His sound is delicate, abstract, soft, pure and profound.

An expression of solitude. Generating and controlling new experimental cycles based on sine waves and noise, he endlessly questions the logical limits of voltage-controlled modules, creating sounds that awaken infinite senses by expressing the spontaneous and planned sounds of natural movement.
