great listen. took me a minute to get used to his hypersonic talking style, but once I was in the zone he had my attention all the way to the end. At one point I he might pass out from not taking a breath. 

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts discusses US-Russia tensions and corona tyranny. He doesn't see how events in Kazakhstan could've been anything else but an attempted color revolution. While prior U.S. administrations in the 20th century worked to defuse tensions with Russia, Washington today is removing safeguards, not taking security talks seriously, and is expanding NATO and military installations. Russians feel they are threatened and are taking actions to ensure their security. These developments are extremely discouraging. At the start of the pandemic, he had no reason to question the CDC and NIH. However, over time he began to see holes in the narrative. He fears many people will be injured as a result of mass experimental vaccination and we may see social collapse. He believes there must be some sort of conspiracy and can't fathom the level of global coordination going on. The lockdowns have created inflation which has created serious problems for the U.S. dollar. We don't know what else they may release. There's a tremendous amount of evil at play. If things don't clear up this year, it may very well be the end of the world.

Paul Craig Roberts has had careers in scholarship and academia, journalism, public service, and business. He is chairman of The Institute for Political Economy.

Dr. Roberts has held numerous academic appointments including the William E. Simon Chair in Political Economy in the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has contributed chapters to numerous books and has published many articles in journals of scholarship. He has testified before committees of Congress on 30 occasions.

Dr. Roberts was associate editor and columnist for The Wall Street Journal and columnist for Business Week and the Scripps Howard News Service. He was a nationally syndicated columnist for Creators Syndicate in Los Angeles. In 1992 he received the Warren Brookes Award for Excellence in Journalism. In 1993 the Forbes Media Guide ranked him as one of the top seven journalists in the United States.

President Reagan appointed Dr. Roberts Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and he was confirmed in office by the U.S. Senate. From 1975 to 1978, Dr. Roberts served on the congressional staff where he drafted the Kemp-Roth bill and played a leading role in developing bipartisan support for a supply-side economic policy. After leaving the Treasury, he served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Dr. Roberts was awarded the Treasury Department’s Meritorious Service Award for “his outstanding contributions to the formulation of United States economic policy.”

In 1987 the French government recognized him as “the artisan of a renewal in economic science and policy after half a century of state interventionism” and inducted him into the Legion of Honor.

He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.

It's focus was to bring Europe and America into supranational union and was originally called the European Management Forum. He believes nuclear war planners like Herman Kahn concluded it would never come to Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) and instead, the threat of thermonuclear war was used to scare populations into advancing elite agendas. He discusses their plan of subverting democracy by training only a certain group in society as potential leaders. Schwab then made the pivot toward the Green Agenda thanks to the Club of Rome. He believes WEF is reaching its maximum level of expansion before its inevitable collapse because you cannot make everyone a globalist.

Actuary and researcher Gail Tverberg discusses our energy problems and how we have an ever-growing population coupled with resources which are more and more difficult to extract. She believes "limits to growth" is a better way of looking at this problem as opposed to EROI. At some point the system binds up and that's what we're running into right now. The corona shut downs may have been an excuse to shut things down due to the collapsing economy and energy situation. Such a decline in a historical cycle brings revolution, disease, and famine. She worries about semiconductors and the world economy breaking into different pieces. Pax Americana can't last forever and several countries are now getting together to take care of themselves. She has a hard time finding electricity sustainable, let alone cryptocurrencies. She doesn't think far-flung wars are sustainable. Things are good as they're going to be.

The author of Our Finite World is Gail Tverberg. She is a researcher focused on figuring out how energy limits and the economy are really interconnected, and what this means for our future. Her background is as a casualty actuary, working in insurance forecasting.

In March 2007, Gail decided to research the issue of limits of a finite world on a full-time basis, leaving her career in insurance consulting. She began OurFiniteWorld.com in 2007, but temporarily changed her writing base to TheOilDrum.com between mid-2007 and 2010, where she was a writer and editor. She has spoken to academic groups, actuarial groups, “Peak Oil” groups, and more general groups, such as religious groups and graduate students. In early 2015, she taught a course at China University of Petroleum in Beijing on “Energy and the Economy.” In 2017, she was one of the invited speakers at a European Commission workshop relating to “New Narratives of Energy and the Economy” in Brussels. 

Gail’s work is different from that of other researchers in that she does not take widely-accepted views as a “given.” Instead she tries to figure out for herself precisely what is happening by looking at a wide range of data and literature, and by investigating leads offered by other researchers and by commenters on OurFiniteWorld.com. In a sense, her wide-ranging view is only possible because of the miracles of the internet and of second-hand books available through Amazon.

One key to Gail’s independence is the fact that she does not take donations or accept advertising on her website. Another key to her independence is the fact that she is not part of the university system, and thus is not subject to the demands of “publish or perish.” Being separate from the university system also allows her to take a broader view of the subject, because “academic silos” are no longer a problem.

Canadian activist and author Yves Engler discusses how he recently interrupted talks by the Canadian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister to call them out for attempting to start WWIII by helping NATO use Ukraine as a proxy against Russia. Canada has massively increased military spending and devoted $590 million for weapons to Ukraine. He considers the Russian invasion to be both rational and imperialistic. Canada has been a proponent of anti-Russian nationalist forces in Ukraine since before Ukraine's independence from the Soviet Union. During the 2004 Orange Revolution the Canadian Ambassador openly admitted they were coordinating the opposition in Ukraine. The Canadian government played a key role in the 2014 coup, where protestors used the Canadian Embassy. It's said that a former Canadian defense minister is the godfather of the modern Ukrainian military. He's not seeing an off-ramp to the conflict. The media is completely pushing the drumbeats of war.

About Yves Engler
Yves Engler is a Montréal-based activist and author who has published 12 books including his latest Stand on Guard For Whom? A People’s History of the Canadian Military. Yves was born in Vancouver to left-wing parents who were union activists and involved in international solidarity, feminist, anti-racist, peace and other progressive movements. In addition to marching in demonstrations he grew up playing hockey. He was a peewee teammate of former NHL star Mike Ribeiro at Huron Hochelaga in Montréal before playing in the B.C. Junior League.

Yves first became active in Canadian foreign policy issues in the early 2000s. It was only after Ottawa helped overthrow the democratically elected Haitian government in 2004 that Yves began to seriously question Canada’s peacekeeper self-image. As he learned about Canada’s contribution to violent, anti-democratic policies in Haiti, Yves began to directly challenge this country’s foreign policy. Over the next three years he traveled to Haiti and helped organize dozens of marches, talks, actions, press conferences, etc. critical of Canada’s role in the country. Yves also co-authored Canada in Haiti: Waging War Against the Poor Majority and helped establish the Canada Haiti Action Network.

As the situation in Haiti stabilized Yves began reading everything he could find about Canadian foreign policy, which culminated in the Black Book of Canadian Foreign Policy. This research also began a process that led to his other books. Ten of his twelve titles are about Canada’s role in the world.

In recent years Yves has sought to mobilize activists to confront politicians through peaceful, direct action. He has interrupted about two dozen speeches/press conferences by the prime minister, ministers and opposition party leaders to question their militarism, anti-Palestinian positions, climate policies, imperialism in Haiti and efforts to topple Venezuela’s government.

Yves played an important role in the successful campaign to oppose Canada’s bid for a seat on the UNSC. He is a founder of the Canadian Foreign Policy Institute.
