The government has stopped investing in water infrastructure and is only maintaining the systems built many decades ago. He describes the decentralized modular water-on-demand solutions OriginClear is providing to mitigate water problems. It also allows the average person to invest in water. Water is now coming out of government monopoly and becoming a private activity. There is no worldwide water market or economy, but he is involved in the eventual tokenization of water via stablecoins.

About Robert Moriarty
Robert Moriarty was born in New York state in 1946. He began training as a military pilot in 1965 and became the youngest Naval Aviator during the Vietnam War in 1966. With two years in Vietnam and some 832 missions in combat, he left the Marine Corps in 1970. He worked in computers for a few years before beginning a 2nd career as a ferry pilot delivering small airplanes all over the world. He made over 240 ocean crossings mostly in single engine airplanes.

He and his wife of 25 years were computer consultants and began one of the earliest online computer retail outlets in 1995 before retiring in 2000. He began another career running a financial website in 2001 specializing in resource companies. He continues to travel the world looking for the next great mineral discovery and writes in his spare time.

“El Leviatán de Hobbes, publicado en 1651, es en muchos sentidos el texto fundacional de la moderna teoría política. Sostiene que, dado que los seres humanos son egoístas, la vida en aquel estado de naturaleza original no era en absoluto inocente: en realidad, debía de haber sido «solitaria, pobre, asquerosa, bruta y corta»: básicamente un estado de guerra de todos contra todos. Si acaso ha habido algún progreso con respecto a este estado de cosas, dicen los hobbesianos, se debe a esos mecanismos represivos de los que se quejaba Rousseau: gobiernos, tribunales, burocracia y policía. También esta visión de las cosas ha estado a nuestro alrededor durante mucho tiempo. Hay una razón por la que, en inglés, las palabras politics (política), polite (educado) y police (policía) suenan tan parecido: todas proceden de la voz griega polis (ciudad), cuyo equivalente en latín es civitas, que nos ha proporcionado también civility (civismo), civic (cívico) y cierta comprensión moderna de civilization (civilización).

Lo que pasa es que, de un modo colectivo, hemos aprendido que nos conviene dar prioridad a nuestros intereses a largo plazo antes que a nuestros instintos inmediatos; o mejor, a crear leyes que nos obliguen a confinar nuestros peores instintos a áreas socialmente útiles como la economía, y prohibirlas en todos los demás contextos.

Como el lector habrá deducido por nuestro tono, no nos gusta demasiado la elección entre estas dos alternativas. Podemos clasificar nuestras objeciones en tres grandes categorías. Como narraciones del curso general de la historia humana, ambas…

1) sencillamente son falsas
2) tienen terribles implicaciones políticas
3) hacen del pasado algo innecesariamente aburrido”

De esta manera tan contundente comienzan las primeras páginas de El amanecer de todo, una impugnación a la totalidad a la historia tal y como se nos ha narrado. Un intento por devolver la política a la historia quitándole el poder a la tesis estatistas y evolucionistas.
