I am a hymns teacher in the Coptic Orthodox Church in America. I grew up in Egypt and migrated to America in my late 30s. For a while I taught hymns in Coptic in America to preserve the language. However, my desire now is to attend church and hear the entire congregation praise with the deacons. Therefore it has become my life passion to teach all Coptic hymns in English, preserving the tune that has been passed on from generation to generation while also making it accessible to everyone. May God use this channel for His Glory.
