Halzyy, AKA Michael Kounoupias was born 8th April 1989, to Greek Cypriot refugee parents. He started off writing and recording with good friends from the age of 16, but not taking it seriously, Tye, Jamz and Tense, who unfortunately passed away in 2007.
After their death, his dream of becoming a fully fledged artist in his own right began to come true.... He wrote and recorded many songs for "Welcome To My World", a mixtape that should have been released in November 2010... but that never came to pass due to issues with "Xklusive Records" label owner De'Jon "Pier'e" Wander...
Eventually,  after much deliberation, he decided to carry on regardless, with or without De'Jon's support, and after many trials and tribulation, he started work on a number of  mixtapes and tracks, but was never really happy with the work he brought out, and they were never released. More determined than ever, Halzyy sat down, and started working with T Dogg of Youngstarz Ent. Work is still ongoing, but both artists agreed that Halzyy should start  making plans for his mix tape "See No Evil" which according to sources close to him, is scheduled to be dropped on the 31st October. Bear in mind, this is a PROVISIONAL date, and nothing has been confirmed, apart from a Trailer video for the whole mix tape which will be on YouTube in January, and the video for "Need Some Sleep" which should be out come February. 
As the buzz around Halzyy's tape has spread from Roehampton, South London, more and more people have got involved.... Artists such as Young Saintzz from Luton, Peace and  Tagious - both from Manchester 
After See No Evil, Halzyy will be joining Mercy Circus, including Peace and Tagious, and has already agreed to feature on "The Evolution Of Peace".
