Dose. is the multifaceted DJ & Music project from partners Max & Taylor. Their musical style flows through genre bending Techno that fuses sounds from the Punk, Disco, & Trance eras...into what they call, Sluthouse.

Throughout the past several years, Dose. has notably transmitted music at events & venues such as: KitKat Club, HÖR, Georgia Bar Berlin, Yelapa Music Festival, Shambhala Music Festival, Versions, Sled Island, Future Forest Music Festival, Gorgomish, Wicked Woods Music Festival, YamBak, and their own Festival creation Re-Unión. 
They have also shared the stage with talented Artists like: Mystery Affair, Diego Montiel, Adrian Marth, Robert E. Livingood, Esette, Roderic, Hector, Metrika y Balcazar, Saand, Nico Stojan, Blond:Ish, Marques Wyatt, Goldcap, Lion-S.

Alongside their DJ bookings & Music Production they have been curating underground events, for over 8 years, in unique alternative spaces. Pioneering their own brand of Techno, in Western Canada, their events have provided a platform to showcase an unorthodox niche of sound. Their event curation also focuses on elevating the way in which people experience dance culture. Dose. expands beyond the scope of traditional expectations; choosing to create unique and visceral Immersive Art Experiences. Their signature style explores the notion of events as Contemporary Art. Through cultivating these experiences Dose. uses their platform to create social commentary, amplify safer spaces & harm reduction, instil conversation, and transmit a conscious message.

Diversifying the stage is an absolute must for Dose. Within both their Music transmissions & Event Curation, it is their strong mandate to always have gender balance & equal representation. They consistently strive to represent fem folk, womxn, & queer Artists. Through this Dose. aims to break down barriers, create new industry standards, & open conversation surrounding the importance of diversity.

Music obssesed since 1976. Buying and collecting albums as a 12 year old. His earliest influences in the late '70s and early '80s were Tangerine Dream, Aphrodite’s Child, The Who, Pink Floyd. George started his DJ career aged 14.His eclectic mixes contain balearic, disco, house, ambient, jazz and rock. He plays what he feels and he loves. His sets nowadays are what most would describe as Balearic/Eclectic but with a healthy dose of electronic throb. Expect chuggers, slipped disco and wonky edits usually between 80-120 bpm depending on the time he plays.
George is a Budapest based curator of the Quality Music Lovers Society group on Facebook. He has been a contributor to the ever reliable Balearic Social radio show on Purple Radio, plays at the Outlaws Yacht Club in Leeds, was a guest DJ of the Balearic Assassins Of Love team in Ibiza and a contributor to the Network show on Box Frequency, Balearic Ultras, Eclectics.
He hosted his own monthly show ’The Sound Of The Quality Music Lovers’ Society ’ on Boxfrequency  radio where he played  choice music, accompanied by famous guest DJ's. The show has moved to  the London based GraffPUNKS Network radio. It is broadcasted  every last Tuesday of the month. 
George has a weekly radio show on the Budapest based Radocafé 98.0 also. It’s broadcasted every Thursday evening.
Beside his own radio show he provides guest mixes for other radio shows all around the Globe. 
George has been played  at ALFRESCO festival int he UK, at DivadelnÍ Flora festival in Czech Republic, has been  played b2b gigs with John Paynter (A Space Age Freak Out) at The Golden Lion Todmorden and Love & Death club Belfast, he was a guest DJ of the Balearic Assassins Of Love team in San Antonio Ibiza. He regurarly plays with his friend DJ Papa Aron at his winery at PAP Wines on the ’Very Sundays’ events. He started Danube Sunset events at Kabin in Budapest.

Scruffy Soul Recordings is a joint UK / Oz based label started in June2020 by founding members The Secret Soul Society and The Found Sound Orchestra.

Taken from Scruffy Soul Recording’s ‘Scruffy Soul EP 003: The Kyoto Connection’ our premier today The Found Sound Orchestra’s Do What You Like is a sublime slice of groove heavy deep vocal bliss. Landing somewhere between Chromeo at their coolest and 80’s AOR fused with loft era deep funk fueled disco it’s a track which is clearly influenced by many different genres but which comes out of the other end sounding in equal parts fresh, inspiring and immediate. 
Scruffy Soul Recordings is a joint UK / Oz based label launched in June 2020 by founding members of The Secret Soul Society and The Found Sound Orchestra. Their latest EP features five tracks and is  stunning throughout. There are two individual tracks from Jules Brennan, who is the Kyoto connection of the title as he is based out in the Japanese city, one Jules Brennan vs Secret Soul track and a track each for label bosses Secret Soul Society and The Found Sound Orchestra. 
The whole EP is a Kaleidoscope of sounds from across the globe, it in many ways reminds me of the UK’s Beta Band’s fusion of electronica, world sounds and funk. Jules Brennan’s smile inducing Oh flamingo also has a touch of the Avalanches, a smorgasbord of instruments, short phrases, bass licks, vocal melodies and general off the wall banter. It’s a great fun track. 
Jules second individual track Theme De Kyoto has that Japanese feel through and through but also reminds in places of Thievery Corporation’s world electronica. The playing is sublime, guitar licks and smooth but ever so funky bass merge perfectly with the Japanese instruments. 
Jules Brennan vs Secret Soul Society’s You Turned Me meanwhile has a deep 60’s soulful lilt to it’s deep warm groove courtesy of some great vocal samples. Again expect guitar licks and a cornerstone of the whole EP some fabulous bass playing.
Secret Soul Society’s Groovy Business is just that, it’s horizontal 70’s soundtrack feel is great fun again bringing to mind the Beta Band at their most playful as it’s acidic and eastern notes combine to give it extra grit.
