Seeking the Beloved’s Love  

1- In the depths of my heart, 
 I search for solace, 
To only find a void I can’t fill 
I fail to grasp the love you offer, 
So pure and free I cannot utter 

2- You never delay tending 
To A broken heart 
One sheep may stray afar, but you search under every star 
Greater love has no measure,
Than the one who laid His treasure

R- I seek and can’t find 
I knock and can’t wait 
I ask and receive, but I give it away
Though unworthy you call me your own, 
“My beloved” you chanted outside the door 

3- Lost in my dark maze of sins, 
Despair engulfs my soul.
But in Romans, you declared
Your Love displayed upon the cross.
the crown of thorns you paid the cost  

4- In pursuit of worldly dreams,
I only find disillusionment.
And at What cost to lose oneself?
Yet in your love, we're found,
Forever cherished, forever bound.
