GEORGE R. JAMES. Vocalist/Songwriter.
 In the mid 1970's legendary record producer Gus Dudgeon signed George's two-piece rock act 'Deuce' to Elton John's newly formed 'Rocket Records' label', George was a singer/drummer. The duo made recordings with the expertise of producer Chris White and engineer Phil Dunne. During that time George was endorsed by the Pearl drum company and  placed on their exclusive list of drummers. A video of a drum solo ("stand up" percussion) can be found on YouTube  -  George James - Lord of the dance.
  Deuce played at many rock venues and touring also took place.  Later, George pursued a career as a solo singer, recording at many prestigious studios, i.e. The Marquee Studios, Gus' The Mill, Startling Studios (John Lennon and Ringo Starr's) at Tittenhust Park, Ascot, Bray film studios and The Cafe Music Studios, London. He loves writing rock songs with melody, also pop, ballads and ambient/atmospheric songs with a haunting feel. He now mostly records in his own studio.
