It was a chilly November night in Williamsburg during BEMF when three unsuspecting house music aficionados stumbled upon each other at The Magician's dj set in a non-descript warehouse.  The night quickly spiraled into mayhem and debauchery and from the ashes of the next morn, a new friendship was formed based on a mutual respect and love of house music.  From that point on, the three developed from music fans to dj's to housemates. Welcome to our house, La Casa Magica.

Like so many of us, music is my DNA. It’s always been there, but it was the dance music of the late 80s and early 90s that fired me up. Acid, house music, rave, hardcore. All of it, I was fully immersed in the culture, but I was always curious, as to how the sounds on some records were made.
              The Hoover, the donk and mad sped up drums. We can put names to them now, and we know it’s all synths and samplers, but for me back then, it was voodo(the good kind). That’s what led to me, spending all my free time learning and making music, so that I can hopefully inspire more people to make more Voodoo(the good kind).
