"A few weeks ago, my father died from, amongst other things, dementia.
To say that the last couple of years have been tough for my family would be an understatement, it one of those conditions that can be just as hard for the family and loved-ones as the sufferer, and can be devastating around Christmas.
After my Dad died, I felt like I needed to do something, and as releasing records is kinda' what I do, the idea for this EP just fell into place in my mind.
I'm not going to waffle on about my experiences, I'm quite a private guy and that's not really my jam. Suffice to say dementia is brutal, and painful, and tragic for everyone involved and the Alzheimer's Society do amazing work supporting both sufferers and carers. Please help us raise a little money to this excellent cause.
While I'm here I want to thank, over and over, everyone involved in putting this EP together at such short notice. The artists who have contributed to this release are some of the most generous and talented people I know, and I love them all dearly.
