Almost two years after ‘Lazer in the Jungle’, his first vinyl release on Playground Records' catalogue, and with a bunch of hot releases on labels like Turbo Recordings and Futureboogie under his arm, the Lithuanian maverick is back with a brand new EP. The package features a variety of vibes ranging from club-ready tracks to psychedelic rollers. On the remix side, Multi Culti’s boss Thomas Von Party delivers a twisted narcotic version of ‘Swing Ride’, meanwhile Mexican geek ALF CHAMPION turns ‘Glass Around’ toward a dub-experimental mix.

Sweat and more sweat in this bunker edition. The vibe thrown off by these edits and rework are vintage military movies from the 80’s & 90’s. RFX worked on three edits with some heavy celestial aspect and punchy drum machines to be played in revolutionary parties that will come in the next years. Jackit went for a retro downtempo FM vibe with mesmerising drum works and hard breaks with flutes so that you feel in Vietnam.

From the frozen and windswept northlands of Minnesota, to the brutal summer heat of central Texas, Zack Highwire (aka Triptíque Musique), drew inspiration for music by connecting the spirit of the universe to man and machine for just shy of two decades. His infectious rhythms, pulsating bass, and psychedelic cosmic vibes take the listener on a mind-altering journey through the mind, body, and soul. Zack passed away on October 22, 2020, but he left us with tracks like Marrakesh to celebrate his life. May he rest in peace riding the universe's vibrations he so often connected to.

On the B side Italian duo Mushrooms Project offer up an acoustic into electronic psychedelic acid masterpiece featuring guitar from Leo Almunia and bass player Ivan King.

All proceeds will go to the Zack Krzmarzick Scholarship Fund used to establish music scholarships for high school students entering college from his hometown of New Ulm, Minnesota.

In a survey published on July 8th this year in the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, most respondents consider the Brazilian President (whose name will not be mentioned here) “dishonest, false, incompetent, unprepared, indecisive, authoritarian, and unintelligent”. We could not agree more! And as strong critics of the imbecile, we got really excited when we were solicited to review a track called “Fuck The President”, to be released soon on the label Suçuarana Records, the result of a collaboration between Berlin/São Paulo-based artists.

Voltags arises from the fusion between the Brazilian performer Volatille with the German producer Gats. Synthesized songs, distorted guitars, and a Cyber/Post-Punk aura accompanied by Vola's aggressive, mocking, and sexual voice.

“Chaos Center”, the duo's debut EP, carries a cellular atmosphere of telemarketing, transmedia calls that cross and intersect in a zeitgeist Cold Turkey of the current anti-virtual “pandemusic”. The album is also an exhibition of photographs by Brazilian visual artist and performer Nube Abe. In the remix duties, Martinelli and Zopelar bring quite different interpretations to increase the quality of the already solid release.

With a strong message and a compelling attitude, “Fuck The President” brings in its lyrics two more adjectives to be added to the list of attributes of the idiot: serial killer and genocidal. Brazil has lost so far almost 550.000 souls to COVID-19, mainly due to the lack of a proper mass vaccination plan to control the crisis.
