Senso Sounds drop a major release from techno heavyweight Dubfire and label boss Oliver Huntemann. Reuniting the partnership that has seen a string of seminal releases over the years in the form of their 'Elements' series, 'Humano' is the 2nd part of a continuation of this series - more weapons of grade dance-floor material from the high profile duo. Later on this year their partnership will be summarized in their 'Restrospec- tivo' album.
Former Deep Dish man Dubfire’s uncanny knowledge of how to create epic dance- floor moments is in full effect, combined with Huntemann’s precision tool production techniques on the original version of the title track. The result is a super tough, tight and incalculably driving slice of techno goodness that will ignite floors worldwide. The rest of the EP manages to maintain the pressure - with a set of sick remixes from Victor Ruiz, Hatzler and Shaded.
Ruiz, the Brazilian techno pioneer adds another level of fire to the original, tweaking and refining the track into a damager that pushes everything to 11 and hits home with every play. Hatzler, the Hamburg based German DJ/producer chooses a different direction - emphasizing more of the space in the original. Rinsing the tension to the next level, look out for the epic middle section break down. The whole package is primed to destroy clubs far and wide - techno at its most effective. Shaded’s Summer Skin remix also delivers a tightly wound interpretation, with a bubbling bass line and nervous, excited groove providing the fuel for an extended dancefloor excursion.

For eleven years already, Fenou has been a synonym for a stylish sound between harmonious electronica and swinging minimal electro. The small but fine sub-division of the well-known Mo's Ferry Productions has created an entirely own niche within the international club scene. Since 2010 the „Fenou Bouquet“ compilations have also established themselves as a representative overview of the multifaceted work of the Berlin-based talent factory. After the previous parts have been compiled by fantastic music selectors such as Marcel Knopf, Dapayk and Douglas Greed, the Leipzig-based musician and producer Stefan Streck aka The Micronaut is responsible for Vol.4. Welcome to „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“!

The Micronaut already left his mark on the last „Fenou Bouquet“ compilation with his track called „Two Lovers“. After the Leipzig-based artist has already released three longplayer elsewhere and rocked the floors at festivals such as the Fusion, the Dutch Eurosonic or Tallinn Music Week, The Micronaut now proudly presents himself as one of the most exciting and promising newcomers on Fenou! Just like the previous „Fenou Bouquet“ releases, Vol.4 kept the conceptual idea to provide a rousing mix of new exclusive tracks, remixes and carefully selected material from the extensive Fenou-Rooster. Although for the first time there is a non-Fenou title that found its way on Vol.4: „Rockit“ by Greeko originally published on Mo's Ferry.

Although the mixture of „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“ is as diverse as the artists themselves, there is a recurring theme: „I wanted to tell a story with the compilation of these tracks,“ said the Micronaut describing this handpicked composition of Vol.4. The compilation represents the likes and dislikes of this Thirty-something guy from Saxony, who also produces soundtracks and image films for various companies. „I like blue, tragic, epic tracks. Tracks that stimulate the inner eye and create images. Tunes that are simply danceable, would be too dull for me.“ And so The Micronaut presents not only The Magician & The Scientist, From Karaoke To Stardom but also Interelektrika and Zaquoir. „I want to take people on a trip.“ A journey that begins with the opener by Martin Kohlstedt and slowly but steady continues to build. „‚Am‘ is a great way to get in the mood. It is also very interesting to hear the interplay of beat and harmony in Lake Powel's ‚Bright Eyes, Dirty Hair (Acid Pauli & NU Remix)‘ while Dapayk's remix of Mooryc ‚Simply‘ pushes forward with high intensity. This dancefloor steamroller is really very out of character, but represents an important contrast to the mood of the entire track list.“

"The first time i was in Lebanon for a Robosonic show I got invited by Sleiman & Tarek aka Three Machines. Not only gifted musicians, producers & DJs but also most lovely habibis - yalla - shukran - شكرا.  So we met once again in Dubai after a gig making music, exchanging ideas - not doing anything forbidden, لريال مدريد. 
On another tour some things were recorded in their studio in Beirut (...plus some of the strings were recorded in Jordania, to keep it real). More collaborations are waiting in the pipeline, but this third episode of Outtakes is about اصنع الحب لا الحرب, i guess." C:

Primarily OUTTAKES is a music series : songs, tracks, beats, fragments and recordings. Produced and directed by Cord Labuhn, it is open for collaborations, guests and cameos. Episodes are available as streams, downloads and evolving playlists – accompanied by exclusive email, video, physical products, vinyl records, merch and real life matters...
Pilot was the „Sleep Out“ mixtape, first season cord/outtakes is airing weekly from now on.These collections will see Cord Labuhn open up a selection of his personal folders and archives to give listeners an intimate insight into his mindset and creative processes whilst simultaneously showcasing the talents of some his closest friends and supporters. After a lifetime of crate digging and absorbing music, OUTTAKES sees a rejuvenated Cord go back to his roots and follows a rekindling of his love affair with Hip Hop that saw him hit the studio with iconic names such as KRS-One, Masta Ace and Jeru The Damaja.  Coupled with the recent geographical displacement of Robosonic - fate and the Atlantic Ocean have separated the pairing, with Sacha now residing in Los Angeles whilst Cord continues to live and work in Berlin - the time was right to think outside of the box with the creation of an outlet for these evolutionary ‘works in progress’. 

Aiming to channel the spirit of the memories that helped him form his cultural and musical identity, OUTTAKES won’t be limited to sonic offerings and will include photographs and video footage in its bid to tackle ‘real life matters’. What Cord means by this is open for interpretation but one meaning he attributes to the phrase is it being a metaphor for physical products you can touch, trade and give-away. Known for his affection for towels  - stick with us here - he’s also applied his mind to the invention of a towel/scarf hybrid which he calls PUNCHI and uses and distributes around the necks of likeminded people and wet cats.

The third Realm Of Consciousness compilation on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife Recordings is the label’s most complete statement so far.

The four-vinyl opus opens with Tale Of Us’ now anthemic ‘Nova’, a high-impact and well-loved staple of their sets this year. Agents Of Time continue with the percussive rattle of ‘Paradigm’, before the first released collaboration between luminaries Recondite and Henrik Schwarz shines with understated melody.

Amongst Mind Against’s eerie masterpiece ‘Portal’ and impressive first appearances on Afterlife from Scuba (as SCB) and Steve Rachmad (as Sterac) are ethereal contributions from Fideles, Ovend and Øostil. UK techno veteran Edit Select channels the darker, hypnotic spirit of Afterlife with ‘Phase In’, setting up the sprawling, 14-minute epic from Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito.

To begin the compilation’s fourth disc, Konstantin Sibold & Kosme’s ‘Cyclone’ lifts the tone, leading into a more introspective sound from Hunter/Game on ‘Changing Weather’. Upcoming German talent Kevin De Vries follows with his infectious cut ‘Mágoa’ and Tone Depth ends the odyssey in mesmerising style with ‘Ibn Sina’.

The full spectrum of Tale Of Us’ Afterlife label is on display here, as they continue to push the envelope with a high-quality and diverse selection of artists.
