This is my debut E.P., narrating my experience step by step of my emotions dealing with so many feelings I am fortunate to have never dealt with before. The lyrics certainly are dark at times, but the tones and vibes vary from very sad to very uplifting. I hope if you come across this that you can relate, and if you are in a dark place like I was that it helps you get out of it, not only to a better place but with the realization that you will always be okay. People make mistakes, people don't always make the best decisions or treat people the way they always think they will... and that's ok!

NO CTRL

"You Know (WTCT)" is all about forgiveness and not letting what happened at the end overshadow an entire relationship. "It don't matter what we go through, you know who to come to" is the simplest way to state 'sure, we've been through shit, some good some bad, but I'll still always care for you'. This song is my own expression of the saying 'nothing last's forever', and as mad as you are, as betrayed as you feel, as much sadness or hate you may feel in your life, eventually you'll always overcome it if you let yourself... and that's what this song is for me!

You Know (Who To Come To)

"No Thanks To You" details the flip of sadness and hopelessness to more of a vindicated tone. In realizing that what was going wrong was actually not your fault, that sense of justification brings a newfound sense of relief in knowing that things weren't perfect, but at least you know the truth. I would imagine that if I were going to start something up in secret with someone new that I too would not tell my current partner about it... cheating is the oldest story in the book for a reason! But even in that shitty situation, the clarity that comes from discovering why a relationship ends versus being kept in the dark might hurt more, but in the end it helps you heal much faster.... no thanks to them!

No Thanks To You

"So Cold" is essentially about feeling betrayed. Learning that someone you know is not giving you the full story is never great, but it is even worse when it is someone you love. This song outlines the emotions and pain that goes through finding out that someone has been keeping secrets from you, telling you one thing yet doing another, and even when you know they're lying they stick by that lie. It is a very sad song, very dark, and is essentially rock bottom.

So Cold

Despite the somber, yet hopeful, lyrics, "Worth It" brings a very upbeat vibe and tone to an otherwise dark situation. "I know it's hard but I'll make it worth it" fairly simply summarizes the willingness to do essentially whatever it takes to fix what isn't working. The plea is outlined by acceptance of what is happening, and that if what the other person truly wants is to break up... then I'm ok with that. However, it seems as if "you're hesitating" so maybe there's still a chance to work it out, and I'm begging you to give it a chance!

Worth It

"No Control" is just raw emotion, entirely about the hopeless feeling of having no control of a situation. One of the first things you feel in a break-up and realizing that things might actually be over is regret -- what could I have done differently, is it all my fault, etc. This song covers all of that and more and truly is musical documentation of one of the darkest emotional periods of my life.
