I got home and wanted to do something
So with a simple chord progression I just pumped out some sweet riffs.

I sorta see it like you're ascending into the clouds, climbing higher and higher, until you find where you've been walking to. Thus "Hiking in the Sky"

Hope you like it.

In my Hands

I worked on this song for a couple weeks now, I had started it but then I TOTALLY PUMPED THE WHOLE THING OUT in about the last two weeks in my spare time. This is pretty much my tribute to the song of time, I worked as hard as I could to actually "master" the sounds so that they balanced well.
Mastering is just changing certain volumes til they work right?
Cuz I don't know shit about compression.
But anyway, yes. Hard work, hella fuckin' balls to the walls badass song came out, I'd think. I'm super proud of this.

So, listen to all of it please, cuz if you get annoyed at the intro, then you're FUCKING WRONG.
If you don't get annoyed at the intro that means I did it right.

As a side note, I hope you recognize the musical quote at the very beginning of the remix section, I think that there's a solo that sounds ridiculously Diabo 2-ey, and then the metroid-ish instrument at the very end.

Life passes you by like the swift clouds on a summer day. So near, so slow, and yet they pass in the blink of an eye. You think you can reach out and grab them but before you know it they are out of your sight...
made in Reason 4, my first escapade with filters and effects. I still don't quite know what I did...

Swift Clouds

An orchestral and sometimes organ-y remake of the classic theme from the movies Jean de Florette and Manon De Source. The theme is often used throughout the movies and carries alot of emotional power, as it was often played by Jean de Florette. 
I decided to do a new arrangement because the song is just too awesome. Really.
And seriously. Bassoon-oboe solis are fricking EPIC.
My homage to the real thing is at the end, with the Concertina. The closest thing I could find to a harmonica.
