Tales est né 2013. La formation a grandi dans les sous-terrains du métro parisien pour finalement monter en surface, à travers quelques incursions remarquées dans des salles ou festivals de la capitale. 
Leur style se caractérise notamment par un travail prononcé sur les harmonies vocales.
Ayant pris un départ sur des influences très pop/folk, le groupe évolue aujourd'hui vers des terrains plus vastes (rock, électro).

Le voyage musical qu’ils proposent ne prend pas l’autoroute. Au contraire, il prend les chemins de traverse, curieux de voir le monde différemment de celui qu’on nous sert. Attachés à la Gascogne et à ses sonorités, ils en ont le tempérament! Les graines aiment à étirer leurs racines où les sonorités évoquent la liberté : à l’est, au sud, partout où le vent souffle à s’en forger le caractère!
Les racines aussi, plongent près du cœur, au plus proche de la terre et de ses battements… Histoire de Femmes, histoires d’Hommes, histoires de celles et ceux qui rêvent encore, qui construisent, qui se battent, qui vivent!
