Oscar Mulero is a techno producer and DJ from Madrid, in charge of successful record labels Pole Recordings and Warm Up Recordings. He began his career as a DJ at the end of the 80’s in Madrid, in the most experimental clubs of the city and soon ended up playing at the legendary Spanish club New World. In 1996, as a part of famous Sonar festival, the name of Oscar Mulero appeared among the list of international underground djs such as Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills. Since 1998, Oscar Mulero has released four studio albums and over 30 EPs on the labels like Tresor, Token, Semantica and his very own Warm Up and Pole Recordings. Beside this, he has developed a fully audiovisual experience with his “Light & Dark AV Set”, tested live in some of the best festivals around. His alter ego,Dr. Smoke also gained strength during this period as a showcase of Oscar’s open and eclectic vision as a music selector, moving deep into territories such as electro, dub and IDM.

His picks for Bassiani Podcast are pretty much what you might expect from the techno heavyweight, such as Oscar Mulero - an atmospheric, dynamic and moody compositions that keep the hype and energy from the beginning till the very end. Following an intense first 30 minutes, the latter half sinks into even more noisy and aggressive staff capturing Mulero’s special approach to techno aesthetic.

ესპანელი პროდიუსერი და DJ, მადრიდის ტექნო სცენის ერთ-ერთი ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანი წარმომადგენელი. დაკვრა 80-იანების დასასრულს, მშობლიურ ქალაქში დაიწყო, ძირითადად ექსპერიმენტულ კლუბებში ერთმანეთისგან განსხვავებული ჟანრის მუსიკას უკრავდა, შემდეგი ნაბიჯი კი მადრიდის ლეგენდარული კლუბი New World აღმოჩნდა. Oscar-ის კარიერის ყველაზე საინტერესო ეტაპის დასაწყისი 1996 წელს და ფესტივალ Sónar Festival-ს უკავშირდება, როდესაც მისი სეტი Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier და Richie Hawtin-ის გვერდით გაჟღერდა, მისი უნიკალური ტექნიკა და სელექცია კი მსოფლიო მაშტაბით გახდა ცნობილი. 1998 წელს პირველი ჩანაწერი/მიქსი, About Discipline And Education გამოსცა, რომელშიც შესული იყო: Jeff Mills, Surgeon, Luke Slater Joey Beltram, Regis და სხვა ცნობილი არტისტების ტრეკები. გამოშვებული აქვს 4 ალბომი და 40-მდე EP, ისეთ ლეიბლებზე, როგორიც არის მისივე დაარსებული Pole Recordings (2004) და Warm Up Recordings(2000), ასევე DETROIT UNDERGROUND,Tresor, Token Records, Semantica Records, Modularz, Mord Records და ა.შ. აღსანიშნავია მისი DJ სეტების სერია Light & Dark AV Set, რომელიც აუდიოვიზუალურ გამოცდილებას ქმნიდა. Oscar Mulero (oficial)-ს ალტერ ეგოს მისი პროექტი Dr.Smoke წარმოადგენს, რომელიც ძირითადად ელექტრონიკაზე, დაბზე და IDM-ზე არის ორიენტირებული.
