Hailing from Sydney in the land down under, George Alhabel is a producer/DJ. After his first introduction to electronic music, and listening to the likes of Deadmau5, Pryda, Guy J and Jeremy Olander, his musical path was set.

Immersed 150 (29 September 2025)

I remember it like it was yesterday: the time I got to open for one of the biggest names in dance music history, Hernán Cattáneo. For me, he had always been one of my biggest inspirations – his sets, his flow, the way he tells a story through music. And suddenly, I was standing on that same stage, with the responsibility of setting the tone for someone I admired so deeply.

The nerves were intense, but at the same time it felt magical. I knew I couldn’t go too fast, that I had to create space so Hernán could unfold his own journey afterwards. Every track I played, I chose with care – warm, deep, and building the right atmosphere. And when I saw Hernán arrive, smiling and relaxed, everything just clicked.

After my set he came up to me, thanked me, and gave me a compliment about the set. That moment will stay with me forever. It wasn’t just a milestone in my career, it was also the confirmation that I was on the right path.
