Explanation of Shaikh Muhammad Amān Al-Jami’
– The meaning of at-Tahiyyāt.

– When a person passes away, all of his actions are cut off. Except for three.
1. Ongoing charity
2. Beneficial knowledge
3. The righteous child that supplicates for the parent.
– The permissibility of giving charity on behalf of the deceased.
– The permissibility of performing Hajj or Umrah on behalf the deceased.
– The impermissibility of gathering to recite Quran for the deceased.
– The deceased are the ones who are actually in need of your supplications.

– The example of the impermissibility of being married to a woman and being married to her niece. Hadīth
– “The Prophet ﷺ said that I have been given the Quran and that which is similar to it with it” Hadīth.

– The legislation of Allah may be through the Quranic verses, and they may also be through the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ
