●From the rewards and benefits of having good thoughts about Allāh.

●The deep insight of the wife of the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allāh be upon him) Khadeejah and how she comforted him.

●From the noble qualities our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).

●Having good thoughts of Allāh when making du'ā.

●Have certainty that Allāh will answer your supplications.

●Having good opinion and thoughts of Allāh at the point of death.

●Having bad thoughts of Allāh leads to destruction and ruin.


Jumu'ah Khutbah 19/09/2025  No believer has been granted a gift greater than having a good opinion of Allāh

●The people of knowledge are granted a rank above others.

●The inheritance of the Prophets (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them).

●Everything seeks forgiveness for the scholars of the Sunnah — even the fish in the sea.

●The death of a scholar of the Sunnah leaves a gap that cannot be filled.

●The calamity of the death of scholars.

●How knowledge is taken away.

●The death of the scholars of the Sunnah leads people to take the ignorant as scholars.

●The importance of seeking knowledge from the scholars before they depart.

●The death of the Mufti of Saudi Arabia — Shaykh 'Abdul 'Azeez aali ash-Shaykh (may Allāh have mercy upon him).

●Those who falsely claim knowledge.

●Honouring our elders and showing mercy to our young.

Text of the ḥadīth:

عن [أبي هُريرةَ] رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، أنَّ رسولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قالَ: مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ. رواه البخاريُّ ومسلمٌ.

From Abū Hurayrah (رضى الله عنه) who said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, "Whoever believes in Allāh and the Last Day, let him speak goodness or else remain silent. And whoever believes in Allāh and the Last Day, let him honour his neighbour. And whoever believes in Allāh in the Last Day, let him honour his guest." [Related by al-Bukhārī and Muslim]
